how do you *plan* to have 'fun'?
hell, I was just thinking wile back that I didn't really want to go to the dam xmas party this year. sick and tired of spending a night sitting slent at an isolated table.. or with people I can't talk to.

and of course this is the year we get guilt tripped into going. ugh

xmas party + alcohol = fun. Lol.

and you're right, you can't plan fun, spontaneous fun is always much better, but you at least have to have the opportunity for fun to happen. :)

You'll have plenty more opportunities to paint the town whatever shade of scarlet you fancy . . . and if you feel like mauve instead, that just means you've added a range you didn't have before.

I've keeled over into bed in the wee hours, crashed on a friend's sofa, sung the sun up. I've also tucked myself in at midnight after an evening of cheerful sobriety. There's plenty of room for it all.

I have to agree that the absence of a hangover does make for a good start to a morning, though.

Mauve, lol.

I like the quiet nights too sometimes, but I was just ready for a crazy one. Ah well, my sister's birthday at the end of the month and being out with all her 21 year old friends is always awesome. :)

Ack, I just re-read my comment -- if I sounded patronising, please forgive me! I certainly didn't intend to. (Maybe it's just a Monday effect, but it suddenly reads dreadfully badly to me.)
