So apparently, I like to kick Jack's ass. I may have to go write him some porn to make up for this.

Particularly loved #6/#8 -- very elegantly done. And #7 was wonderful.
One note on #1: we didn't have VCRs yet, let alone DVD players. The only way to watch a movie more than once was in repeat showings at a movie theatre, or if the TV company actually aired it more than once, which they never did in close succession. They used to air "The Wizard of Oz" once a year . . .

Although I was so caught up in the emotion that I did, in fact, miss the bit about the metatarsals and the metacarpals! It would have been the fifth metacarpal, as in carpal tunnel.
Since RDA brought so much of his own experiences into his characters, I've always assumed that the tally of broken bones did, in fact, match his own, and would have begun in childhood -- and included the double broken arms.
Solitudes is a wonderful, wonderful episode. "It's my sidearm, I swear." Trapped on a glacier with MacGyverrrrrrr . . .

Double broken arms?? Ye-owch!
I love the sidearm joke, and not just because it's dirty! Lol. I just love that even on the brink of death, Jack still tries to keep his sense of humour. And of course my shippy side adores it too. :)
Solitudes is probably my favourite season 1 ep.
