Hermione sighed as she heard the door shut. Why she had come to Draco, she had no idea. It didn’t make any sense and she knew it. To make things worse, it went against every logical thought in her head. It was stupid, and coming here had been nothing but dumb. She more than likely could’ve found the spell, in fact, she wanted it.
Sitting down at the table, she piled books on it and then, much like she had at Hogwarts, began to search through them. She knew that what she wanted to do was illegal, but she knew it was for the better. As much as she would’ve wanted it, Hermione knew that Ron didn’t love her.
He was in love with Susan, and only wanted Hermione for the sex. Ron didn’t even stay with her the last time. So the best thing to do in Hermione’s mind?
Try and make him forget about her and his infatuation with her.
That meant searching through every spell she could absolutely think of and to Hermione, it meant more than anything to get rid of Ron’s infatuation with her. All it had ever been between the two of them was sex, even when it seemed that Ron really did love her, he had done such kind things.
“Ron? Are you here?” Hermione said softly as she walked into her apartment. She noticed that the fireplace had a little soot around it and it brought a smile to her face. Ron had never really been one to remember to clean up after he used the Floo Powder. Glancing around to the kitchen she noticed that there were wine glasses with a bottle of wine chilling in an ice bucket. A blush came to her face and she giggled. “Ron, you can come out now, I know you’re here.”
“Hey ‘Mione…” Ron smiled as he walked out, carrying a rose in his hand. He handed it to her, as he leaned in and kissed her cheek.
“What brought you here tonight? I thought you had practice with Harry and the rest of the team." Ron shrugged and took her hand as he kissed the top of it softly.
“Coach canceled practice for tonight, figured we’d be as good as we could get.”
“Oh,” Hermione frowned as she tried remembering if Harry had mentioned anything - about practice or even if it had been canceled.
“What’s the frown for, Luv?” He tilted his head as he poured the bottle of wine into her glass and he smiled. “C’mon now, give me a smile or tell me what’s wrong.” Ron whispered as he pulled her close against him.
“It’s just that I don’t remember Harry mentioning that you had a practice at all…” Hermione trailed off as she looked up towards Ron, who’s face was turned away from hers. He looked back at her.
“So you think I’m not tellin’ you the truth then?”
“No, Ron I didn’t say that at all.” She reached out to touch his shoulder when he jerked away from her.
“Look Hermione. I don’t have to answer to you. We’re not even bloody dating.” Ron exclaimed as he backed away from her. Hermione frowned again and as she looked over towards Ron, he pushed her away from him.
“Ron, I’m not saying that I want to know what you’re doing at all.” She stopped, “Why are you acting like this? You asked me what was wrong.”
“Well I didn’t think that it was where you were going to tell me that you were going to believe Harry over me, Hermione.” Ron growled as he walked towards the door. “If you don’t want to believe me, then I’ll leave.”
“No.” Hermione exclaimed. “That’s not what I want at all Ron. Why would you think that I’d want you to leave?”
“You don’t seem to really want me here.” Ron stopped, “And to be honest, I’m not sure that I want to be here anymore.” Hermione felt her heart jump into her throat.
“What?” Ron stood up and looked to her, coldness almost in his eyes.
“Hermione, I’m marrying Susan.” Hermione almost felt her legs give out but when she looked down, she noticed that she was still standing. “I’m sorry I had to tell you like this, I had planned it out differently.”
“Get out.” Hermione growled.
“What?”
“Get out now.” Hermione retorted. “I don’t want to see you right now…”
Hermione knew that it had been her emotions on a high that had caused her to kick Ron out, and it was her emotions that let Ron back into her life as well as her bed. She hated herself for it but knew that it happened because she loved him.
Shuffling through more books Hermione stifled a yawn as she sighed and looked down, leaning her face on her hand she knew that she had to find the spell, but one little nap wouldn’t hurt.

Draco’s head felt groggy and he felt a little sick. His only hope was that Hermione was out of his house. Taking a moment to lean against the wall he shut his eyes. Maybe then he might be able to walk straight. Sliding down against the wall so he could sit down, he started searching for his cigarettes.
‘Draco, you have to go…’
Shaking his head, Draco tried standing back up, it could’ve been a way to make the voices stop. But he couldn’t stand, and he didn’t want to remember…
“Draco, you have to go…” Narcissa had told him. Draco turned to her, his back towards the fire that roared in their library. His arms crossed, he sighed and shook his head.
“Why? We’ve been fine this whole time and the war is over Mum.” He walked over towards her and kissed her forehead affectionately. “I’m not going to go, not without you.” Narcissa sighed and looked down a moment before she pushed Draco’s hand away.
“Then go away for the weekend. I have things to do…and I don’t need you bothering me while I attend to them.” She told him. Draco stopped a moment, “And if you argue with me, I’ll make sure it’s the last thing you do.” Draco smiled a bit, there was his mother that he adored. He nodded and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
That had been the last kiss he’d given her. The last moment he’d spent with her.
Pulling himself up, Draco rubbed his eyes. He didn’t want to remember anymore. Giving himself a few minutes he pulled a small vial from his pocket and drank its contents, shutting his eyes.
A few seconds later he reopened them and sighed. Sobering up that quickly had never been fun. Bit it was a necessity. Looking around he pushed his hair out of his face and smirked as he made his way back home. If the muggle born was still there, well, he’d just have to kick her out. So what if she didn’t have enough time to find the spell, he had enough time to get drunk, which meant she had time to find it.
Opening the front door, he looked around and didn’t notice anything, but somehow he knew that Hermione was still there. Taking off his jacket, he draped it over the chair and pulled his shirt off. He wanted to sleep, but first he had to get Hermione out of his house. Turning to walk into the room, he stopped when he say Hermione sitting at the table, her arms folded over as she slept soundly.
So maybe he wouldn’t kick her out just yet.
He stood there awhile before turning and making his way back to the front door. Locking it, he sighed as he grabbed a bottle of water and leaned against his counter. Being sober now was not a good thing, because then it gave him time to think.
The last thing Draco really wanted to do was think about Hermione, or even worse, his mother. It wasn’t something that he liked to ever think about and being honest with himself, he never really took the time to think about his mother’s death, but that was only because he didn’t want to. Standing up he looked down and started making his way towards the study room again. Leaning against the doorway and he smiled as he crossed his arms.
“Care to wake up anytime soon Granger?” He asked her. When he noticed that she didn’t even move he walked into the room and sat down on the bench next to her. Her top was a little further unbuttoned than he remembered and a smirk crossed his face. Draco leaned in and pushed her hair behind her ear. “Granger, wake up.” Hermione slowly began to stir.
“Whatdoyouwant?” She mumbled.
“You need to get up, at least go lay on the couch.” He told her. When Hermione slowly sat up and she stretched out, she sighed.
“Mm, I don’t want to, can’t I just cuddle up with you Ron?” She murmured, her eyes closed. Draco’s jaw set and he pinched her arm. Her eyes shot open as she jerked away from him. “Ow. What the hell was that for?” She yelled.
“For calling me a Weasel. I’m not your little pathetic Ronald.” He growled. “Look, it’s almost close to morning but you look tired. Take my couch.” Draco stood up as he crossed his arms and looked towards the window. “Did you find your little spell anyway?” He asked. He wasn’t sure why exactly he was asking but he figured it got her talking, which meant she’d wake up sooner and then she’d leave.
“No, I tried looking for it in a lot of these books but I couldn’t seem to find it.” Hermione whispered, rubbing her eyes.
“What the hell could you be looking for that you can find?” He demanded, turning back towards her as he took a drag of his cigarette.
“A spell called s, it’s a spell that would make things happen.” Draco’s eyes widened. He knew exactly what the spell was used for. His own Mother had admitted to him that she wanted to use it on his own father.
“You can’t do it.” Draco said softly, letting his hands rest against the table as he looked towards her. “There’s no way that you can do it.”
“I beg your pardon, I’m actually quite good in my work, as I’m sure you’ve seen when we were at Hogwarts.” Hermione spat back. Draco rolled his eyes as he extinguished his cigarette before he slammed his fist down on the table.
“I don’t mean that you can’t do the spell as in you can’t accomplish it. I mean that you can’t do it. It’s illegal in case you haven’t noticed.” Draco sneered. Hermione sighed, rolling her eyes as she stood up.
“Of course it is you idiot. Why do you think I asked for your help?”
“Then you wanted to do this? You wanted to do something illegal? Just so you could make someone else forget?” Draco growled, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him. “That’s all you wanted then, huh?” She winced.
“Exactly.” Hermione sighed as she looked down. “But if you don’t want to help me, then dammit I’ll find it myself. But don’t doubt that I won’t do it.”
“Who’s it for?” Draco demanded.
“What?” Hermione asked, almost shocked by what he asked.
“Who are you planning on using that spell on? Yourself?” Hermione shook her head and sighed as she looked down, Draco tightened his grip on her wrists.
“Dammit let me go Draco.” She whimpered.
“Not until I know what you’re planning on doing with that spell. Why would you even have need of it?” Draco growled. Pulling her against him as he clasped his hand around her waist.
“It’s to keep Ron from coming back to me again.” Hermione whispered. Draco loosened his grip, letting go of her wrist, he kept his hand on her waist. “I can’t let him ruin his marriage to Susan just because all he thinks I am is a good la-”
“Shut the hell up Granger.” Draco demanded. Seconds later, Hermione found herself being kissed by him again. Her arms wrapped around him, as Draco’s kiss became more demanding. Feeling her body warming against his as she pushed up against Draco, Hermione moaned softly as she nipped his lower lip.
Draco pulled away a moment, only to grab Hermione’s hand and lead her towards his room. As Hermione looked around, she smiled a little, remembering much from their one night. She remembered crumpling up those sheets and with her legs wrapped around his. She didn’t have much time to think before Draco had her pinned against the wall.
“Finally. You should just keep your mouth shut from now on, I like you a bit more when you’re mouth is quiet.” He smirked a bit and tilted his head as he started to unbutton her shirt from the top of her shirt. His knee nudged hers to the side and Draco’s grin widened a bit as his other hand caressed the inside of her thigh. “That is, unless you’re screaming.” Hermione bit her lower lip, refusing to give in.
“You’re an asshole you know that?” She asked softly, Draco chuckled and gently nipped her neck where it met her shoulder.
“That I know. Besides that, I know you’ve wanted me since that night.”
“Oh really? You think I’d actually want a snotty pureblood brat like you?” His grip tightened as Draco pulled her shirt off.
“Don’t tempt me.” He murmured. “I’d teach you so many things and different ways to scream that you wouldn’t be able to walk home in the morning.” Hermione raised a brow and smirked, a challenge always seemed fun, and she was always interested in learning new things…and she wasn’t so sure she wanted to go home.
“Try me.” She licked her lips and grinned as Draco looked up at her. Her legs buckled as Draco pushed her underwear aside and slid two fingers deep into her. His thumb rubbed against her clit and smirked slowly as he felt her body quiver, as she barely was able to stand.
“Want me to let you lay down? Have you had enough?” Draco chuckled. Hermione bit her cheek, not allowing her to say a single thing.
“You think that’s done anything for me? Nice try.” She retorted, smirking as she did. Draco’s brow raised and he licked his lips as he slowly lifted her up.
“I want you to understand something…” He murmured, Draco began unzipping her skirt, taking it down slowly as he kissed along her shoulder, nipping here and there. Hermione tilted her head to the side as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, her nails raking down his body. “After me, you’ll never have better.” He growled.
“Really? Because so far, you kinda suck.” Hermione giggled as Draco lifted her up, having removed everything and just as he slammed his lips against hers, he slammed into her. Hermione’s lips broke away from Draco’s as he let her grow used to his size.
“We’ll talk about sucking…later.” Draco captured her lips again as he held her firmly by her waist. Hermione’s legs wrapped around his, just as Draco began to move within her. With every movement she bit her lower lip and tried to keep from moaning.
Moaning would mean that Draco had power over her.
She felt a shudder course through her body as his fingers gently caressed her clit and with each thrust Draco moved just a bit harder, deeper. Hermione cried out as she felt him move within her. Hermione kept trying to keep herself from admitting that Draco had a power over her.
“Draco…” She moaned. Clinging to his back, she dug her nails in a big as Draco slammed her back against the wall as he repositioned her, allowing more room for him to enter her, going deeper. Draco ran his tongue along the base of her neck, causing Hermione to arch her pelvis against his body, making the movement within her even deeper.
She moaned and leaned down, kissing his lips as Draco looked up towards her. He leaned down, and kissing along her chest, he grinned as he took her nipple into his mouth, sucking. Her fingers trailed through his long hair as she felt his teeth nip against her skin, her body shuddered…feeling her body totally give way to him.
They both breathed heavily, and Draco smirked slowly as his forehead leaned against hers and he let Hermione’s body slid down against his. Draco leaned in and kissed gently against her eyes as he licked his lips.
“Told you that you wouldn’t be able to walk.” He chuckled and picked her up into his arms, carrying her to his bed. Hermione nestled her head against his shoulder and she giggled a little as Draco pulled her into his arms.
“I thought you never wanted me in your bed again.”
“I didn’t. But you satisfied me for the moment.” He smirked a moment before he leaned back. “I’ll tell you what Granger. I’ll do you a favor…if you do me one.” Hermione raised a brow, pushing herself up on her arm.
“And what might that be?” Draco looked at her.
“You don’t use that useless spell that will only make Weasel’s feelings ‘unsuitable’ for you, and I’ll give you a reason not to.” Hermione rolled her eyes.
“Yeah, one that would make Ron end up wanting nothing to do with me? What could that be?” Draco slowly smirked.
“You date me, only up till the wedding of course.” Hermione’s eyes widened. Draco Malfoy was offering to date her, up until Ron’s wedding to keep Ron from wanting to continue an affair with her.
“What…what would I have to do in return?” Draco didn’t answer, only grinned and turned away from her as he turned off the light.
“Guess you’d have to wait for that huh?”
