Tindy's teaching me how to cook with disasterous results so far. Other house-elves are very glaring about scorch marks on the wall. Potions skills rusty. Cooking should be in same area. Can not understand being a bit more than decent at Potions and rubbish at meal-making. Very frustrating. Will likely owl Sunshine for help. Have asked Gin over for Saturday with intent to cook for her. This could end budding relationship. Must have help. Do not want potential girlfriend dead of food poisoning.
Have job interview. Madam Malkin looked absolutely horrified at my actually turning in the application. That alone was worth the effort.
