Fandom: Dead Like Me The year is 2015 and Seattle is in trouble. There are people showing up in ERs with horrific injuries, and yet they're feeling no pain thanks to the absence of their souls. There are Gravelings facilitating deaths that have no corresponding Post-its. The system is in severe danger of losing its balance, and the secrecy with which the undead function in the world of the living is at stake.
Stuck in the middle of it all, Rube can only ask for help in identifying and dealing with the various rogue elements. What he needs is a Graveling expert: someone who can see the creatures more clearly than most reapers, someone who understands the Graveling system better than he does. What he needs is the reaper who left Seattle five years previously to transfer to LA.
What he needs - though he is loath to admit it - is Georgia Lass. It's a reunion that isn't going to go very smoothly...
This is a simply amazing story with a complex and interesting plot, fascinating backstory on DLM issues and perfect handling of the George/Rube relationship. Read it!
