Fandom: BtVS Set some two years post-Chosen, Xander is visiting Stonehenge when one of his lost companions is apparently resurrected right in front of him. Is it a trick or is there some underlying apocalypse in waiting?
This is an interesting fic in that it portrays a Xander who is very believably portrayed as being near the end of his tether, to the point where Giles is seriously concerned that he's unconsciously trying to commit 'suicide by demon'. The motivations and dialog are well written and very gripping and Queen C is wonderfully portrayed both in her bite and her deeper care.
