This is an incredibly powerful story, confronting and almost cruel in it's exposure of the characters and a believable vision of what they could become under the right circumstances. The constantly changing first person view point makes it difficult to read at times but ultimately adds to its power. This is a story of a slayer who has gone over to the Dark Side and is on the run. And another who is lost and in despair.
