Spitzthecat - The Joshua Monologues
Fandom: West Wing By opening his mouth at the wrong time Josh finds himself accompanying Donna to a showing of The Vagina Monologues. This in itself is hilarious and sets the tone for a long saga in which Josh and Donna get married and start single-handedly populating the earth. Turns out Josh is a wonderful dad: who knew? Obviously it diverges in respect of the marriage but it is also AU in some other ways as well. Overall it is a very happy fic and will leave you smiling.
The drawback is that it is currently WiP but at 46 chapters you certainly don't feel shortchanged and it doesn't end on a cliff-hanger. The last update was in '04 so it is unlikely to be enlarged beyond what's there.
