Was Your Education Worth It?

Where
= number of years in your higher education

Where
= school debt on a scale of 1 to 10
(1 being one last payment and it's all paid off and 10 being I can't believe I owe $10,000 for my art degree)

Where
= job unhappiness on a scale of 1 to 10
(1 being I wish I didn't have a family so I could dedicate all my time to my job and 10 being I hate waking up because I know work is waiting)

Where
= necessary diploma on a scale of 1 to 10
(1 being my political science degree has really helped me with my trash collecting and 10 being why won't they let me cut people open without a medical degree)

Where
= the number of lifetime relations on a scale of 1 to 10
(1 being I was a science major with a cool chemistry kit and 10 being I was in a sorority/fraternity)

Where
= environmental maturity on a scale of 1 to 10
(1 being your mom still helps pay the bills and 10 being you pay her bills)

If
is = 1 or greater, then congratulations, your education was worth it.

In my old life, I had a friend who always said, "You meet some version of everyone you will ever encounter in high school."

Today, it's shocking to me that he never wondered why that is.
