I changed one thing and have killed a meme. MWHAHAHAHA.

1. I am incredibly contradictory. I will argue with you about a viewpoint I do not have or support merely for the thrill of arguing. This doesn't hold up well against people who actually know the issues when I don't but when we both know the issues is lots fun. (It's not jsut the fun of arguing, it's also that I don't like people refusing to change their perception of reality)

2. I have done pot once, smoked a single puff of cigarette smoke (I didn't cough, apparently I smoked it quite well, but I didn't see the point) and drunk far far less alcohol than your average 20-29 year old does. Yet I have an interest in mind altering drugs, simply because I find altered perceptual states fascinating. I will probably never ever try any drugs because of all the side effects, but if I could use a device to facilitate the effects with no side effects I'd be at it like a shot.

3. I seem to have this odd ability to make straight guys either cross the fence, experiment or seriously question their sexuality. I've had one male friend love me and tell me I'm the only guy he'll ever think of that way, had another two friends tell me they wished they were gay because I would be the perfect partner for them and was the turning point guy for a few friends who weren't sure. I actually only ever slept with one of those people (the first one) because I just idn't feel right taking advantage of a situation like that.

4. I was able to read before I went to school and able to write in sentences in kindergarten. We had journal writing in kindergarten which for almost all the kids was just play writing (Doing scribbles and pretending it says something, maybe putting in the occasional word) whereas I was writing sentences about the day (Probably not good sentences but still. I remember getting annoyed at having to do the work while everyone else was goofing off so I wrote down "Can I have a computer?" and made the question mark fill the page.

5. I am quite intelligent. In primary school I always got the ticks in the well above average or excellent columns which means I should have been in extension programs and yet I was only placed in two, one for math and one for reading. Neither of those programs ever pushed me either, just taught me things faster. As such getting to university and meeting people who not only were working at the same level as me but also well beyond my abilities was... frightening. For the first time I wasn't breezing through the work, and as high school had left me with no studying skills or idea of how much time I had to spend on the units I really wasn't ready for it. I still passed it without too much effort, but if I had actualy had to develop those skills in high school I think I would have done a lot better.

6. I am a bibliophile. I read like nothing else. And I read fast, I have not developed any speed reading skills or skim reading, I just read very very fast. I go through books at a very high rate but find it difficult to find books I enjoy as a lot of them tend to be rubbish. *coughtwilightcough*.

7. I am very shy about the subject of sex. this is why I use humor about it so much, hiding my insecurities behind jokes and laughs and smiles. Honestly, I just haven't met someone I feel comfortable exposing myself to like that lately. I made some bad choices about whom to be intimate with as a teenager and I guess I'm paying the price now.

8. I am quite the amateur food critic. I am quite good at distinguishing flavours and scents from foods. Up until recently I have had quite a limited palette towards foods, but I think thats changing these days. I still don't enjoy spicy foods that much and will never be a vegetarian. My main problem is relating my senses to other people since I've created my own vocabulary to describe taste and scents.

Do it if you feel like it.
