Rescue What's Left Of Me
Chapter Ten: What You Hold Back
Summary: Brian is ready to have the baby. Michael is still meddling. The brunet has his doubts about Justin.
AN: Thanks a million to my beta, Helen. I hope you guys like this chapter. Later!

Justin came out of the bathroom completely naked and drying his hair with a towel. When Brian looked up from his file at the older man he just stared. He licked his lips slowly and arched a brow when Justin pulled the towel away.

"Did you just dye your hair again?" Brian asked seeing that it was now a medium brown color.

"You like it?" Justin asked. "It was growing and I don't want my roots to show."

"You talk like you're trying to cover gray hair," Brian said and smiled. "Are you?"

The older man chuckled and shook his head as he threw the towel away while he crawled into bed. He grabbed Brian's file and put it away as well as he got in between the brunet's legs.

"What do you think you're doing?" Brian asked smiling.

Justin only shrugged and looked down at Brian's belly. He smiled and kissed the top of it. He let his hands move down as he stared at his man. Brian swallowed and he gasped as Justin caressed his dick. The brunet licked his lips and opened his legs wider.

"Eager, are we?" Justin asked as he started to take Brian's pajama pants off. "Suddenly you know what I'm doing, huh kid?"

Brian smiled as he heard Justin calling him kid. He had to admit that at first he didn't like it and there were sometimes when he still fought with Justin about calling him a kid, he didn't really mean it. He had missed that word coming from his husband's lips. And it always made him horny because the shorter man always called him kid but his husband always added a bit of sexual tone to it. He simply loved it.

"Yeah," Justin muttered when he ran his fingers up and down Brian's cock and the brunet moaned with pleasure and yearn. He smiled wickedly at Brian and then let go of the man's member. He moved up and straddled the taller man's body making sure to keep his weight off of him. Then he started planting kisses all over Brian's neck. He nibbled a bit on Brian's shoulder blades and then kept moving down leaving a trail of kisses, love bites and saliva.

"You're driving me crazy," the brunet gasped out after a while of Justin just hovering over his cock. He could feel the man's breath there teasing him, making him horny, making him vibrate with excitement to what was about to happen.

"Did you miss me?" Justin asked and then licked the tip of Brian's cock.

"No," Brian almost wailed but it wasn't because he was answering the man's question. It was because Justin kept torturing him. He wanted to feel Justin's mouth on him. "Please."

"Did you miss me, kid?" Justin asked and then bit the inner side of Brian's right tight, really close to where hip and leg connected.

Brian's body shook for a few seconds and the older man smiled widely. He let his fingers caress the brunet's hips and then started licking the brunet's hard, leaking shaft. He wasn't going to tease the man any longer; all he wanted to do was make love to Brian. He had missed his kid a lot.

"Jus," Brian gasped out as his eyes closed and his hips pushed up. His finger gripped Justin's hair and he tugged at the still damp strands. He tried to open his eyes a few times, but each time they closed in their own accord. Justin's ministrations were making him fall into a tornado of pleasure and he couldn't fight it. He didn't want to fight it.

Justin let Brian's cock come out of his mouth before he licked his lips. He pushed his nose into Brian's pubes and inhaled deeply. It was the most magnificent scent; it was his man. He licked Brian's lower abdomen, teasing just a bit, he heard the brunet gasp and he felt his cock get harder by the second. He was leaking, hard and ready to take Brian but he waited a few more minutes. He licked Brian's cock from the base to the top and then swirled his tongue around the head. He grabbed the man's hips to hold him in place before he opened his mouth and took in the hard cock all the way down. With one of his hands he massaged Brian's sac only going lower to tease the brunet.

"Jesus," the brunet gasped out, barely audible as his head thrashed from side to side on the pillow. One hand was tangled in Justin's hair and the other one was gripping Justin's shoulders. He didn't know it but Justin did, that he had a way of purring that let Justin know he was more than ready to be fucked.

Justin pulled away and looked at his husband. He smiled when Brian snapped his eyes open. "You want me, kid."

"Yes," Brian hissed.

The shorter man moved to grab the lube and the condoms. When he had them he put them next to the brunet. For a few minutes all Justin did was kiss Brian, urgently, passionately, strongly as he caressed Brian's body. "You're hot, kid."

Brian smirked at that. He loved the way that Justin always told him something like that. He was always saying he was hot or beautiful or cute or something that made him feel like he was the most amazing thing that Justin had ever laid eyes on. It made his heart beat even faster and his body feel like he was falling deeper and deeper and he didn't want to ever lose that feeling. He always wanted to feels his stomach filled with butterflies and his body tremble.

The older man prepared Brian gently and then put a condom on. He was about to turn Brian on the side because it would be more comfortable but Brian pushed him into his back. He smirked and watched as Brian straddled him and then grabbed his cock. Justin closed his eyes and his face twisted with pleasure as his cock pushed inside the brunet. His hands flew up to Brian's hips and a groan of satisfaction escaped his lips. He was inside the brunet, where he belonged.

Brian closed his eyes and with his hands on Justin's chest he started to ride the older man. He could hear Justin talking to him, some words he could make out some he couldn't. He knew that Justin was telling him how beautiful he was, how good he was, how sexy he looked and all that. What started with a slow pace started to become a fury of limbs tangled together trying to reach rapture. Sweat covered their bodies, touches identified their weak spots; a scratch on the hip, a pinch on a nipple, a bite on the neck and so on, then with shouts and grunts of passion and lust they reached their end.

The brunet's body felt forwards after he exploded his body enveloping in electricity and heat. His eyes were closed but he opened them when he felt Justin's cock still pulsing inside of him. It was the aftershocks and they were perfect. He enjoyed those few moments knowing that soon he would be empty and yearning for more.

"Hey," Justin whispered. "You okay."

"Just happy," Brian almost purred.

The blond smiled and caressed Brian's moist back. His hand went up and his fingers played with Brian's strands. The younger man lifted his head and grinned.

"What?" Justin asked arching a brow.

"Welcome home," the man said.

Justin laughed heartedly and pulled the brunet's head towards him once again. He closed his eyes to just enjoy the smell, the feel, the love that he got from his kid.

***

J.C. parked his car in front of Justin's house and got out. He could see the older man on the garage, apparently fixing something in his car. He walked over to him and knocked on the side of the wall before he leaned against it. Justin turned his head and arched a brown before he went to just staring at the motor.

"What are you doing?" J.C. asked. "You're no mechanic."

"I know," Justin said. "I'm trying to look for devices."

"What kind of devices?" J.C. asked with a frown.

"I've been inspecting this car all morning, every bit of it," he said and straightened up. "Someone is following me."

"I'm on it, seriously. I'm close to fining out what's going on. Can you trust me?" J.C. asked with both eyebrows raised.

"What are you doing here?" Justin asked as he turned around.

J.C. smiled and pulled something from his coat pocket. "Here, I bought that for Brian and the baby."

Justin arched a brow and picked the small square box. It was enclosed in gold wrapping paper. He looked back at J.C. and then put in on his back pocket.

"What is it?" Justin asked.

"The same thing I got when I was twelve," J.C. said.

The older man stared at Jason for a long time. He bit his lower lip and then looked at the floor for a few minutes before he sighed.

"So what are you going to do?" J.C. asked. "Because everywhere I look at this is not good and sooner or later things are going to get from where we are right now, which are bad to fucking worse and I'm sure it won't stop there."

"Go back," Justin said and closed the hood of his car.

"What are you? Not listening to me?" J.C. asked.

"I am," Justin said walking out of the garage, when Jason moved out of the way he closed the door. "Don't treat me like I'm a kid. I know what you're telling me and I'm already working on it."

"Who do you think was talking to Jake?" J.C. asked. "I mean is just all so…"

"Look," Justin said. "Just go, okay. I have a million things in my mind right now, okay," the blond said and looked at his watch. "I will be over around six."

J.C. moved closer to his boss. They stood there staring at each other for a few seconds. "You know, sometimes I think there is something you're not telling me. We've shared so much, you and me. But if you hide from me important things, if you don't trust me enough things will go bad. You and I have a special relationship."

"What kind of a relationship?" Brian asked from the side of them.

Both men looked at the brunet in unison, two pair of blue eyes stared at the not so happy Brian.

"I didn't hear you," Justin said and when he looked at the front door it was open but Brian hadn't closed it again.

The brunet crossed his arms. Ever since he had met J.C. he knew something was up. He didn't like the way J.C. talked with his husband. It was like they had shared something and it worried him that Justin would want more of what J.C. had.

"Is not what you think," J.C. said and then turned back to look at Justin. "You watch your ass because if something happens to you or Brian or the baby I am so going to kick it."

The older man sighed and watched his little brother go.

Brian didn't understand the man half of the time. J.C. was always acting too weird as far as he was concerned. He was still reeling from the time Justin got shot and was home recuperating. J.C. had come everyday to visit and he hated the man those days. Sometimes the blond looked like a really, really concerned friend and other times he got way too close to the blond, like they had shared something. And now he'd just heard J.C. himself talk about how Justin and him had a special relationship. What if they were fucking each other, Brian wondered. There was no way for him to know, was there.

"Hey, it's kind of cold out here," Justin said. "Go back in."

Brian wanted to scream. "Come with me."

"Yeah," Justin said and walked over to the brunet. He smiled and kissed Brian on the cheek as he snaked his arm around Brian's back. "Come on."

Brian walked with him and at the door he turned around to see J.C. still sitting in his car watching them. He glared at the man before he shut the door and locked it. "Justin," Brian said.

"What?" Justin asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"Have you ever…did you two…where you two involved in any way?" Brian asked. "You know…um did you guys ever fuck? I mean, what were you guys talking about out there?"

Justin turned slowly and looked at Brian and then he burst out laughing. He laughed for what it seemed a very long time, holding his belly with both hands. The brunet was pretty sure that he saw a tear sleeping out of Justin's eye. He frowned and crossed his arms over his chest; they rested on top of his belly.

"Oh, Brian," Justin said amused. "That's rich, kid, but no. We have never fuck and we never will, I assure you. Stop being so jealous, kid," he said and licked his lips. "You know you're the only one for me," he said to the brunet before he winked at him and walked in the direction of the kitchen to prepare them something to eat.

Brian's mouth opened a bit not sure what he wanted to say. He stood there angry that Justin had laughed at his question and that he had gotten no explanation about what he and J.C. had been talking about outside. He licked his lips and now his arms were hugging himself. He was scared that the blond didn't belong all to him. He wanted to believe his husband but the blond had so many things that he kept away from him that he could never be sure, could he? He didn't have a clue as to how he was going to find out but one way or another he would. Because if the blond was with someone else then he was leaving and that was that.

***

Brian licked his lips and then reached for the napkin he was using. He cleaned his mouth and dropped it on top of the plate before he leaned back and burped. "Sorry," he said with wide eyes as he looked at Emmett.

The man laughed and shook his head. "Its okay, sweetie."

"Don't call me sweetie," Brian told him.

"Okay, okay," Emmett said and arched a brow as he looked at Brian. "What's wrong with you?"

"Do you feel okay?" Michael asked.

The three of them had met at the diner about an hour ago. Brian had come with Emmett and Michael had been there already. They ordered lunch and talked for a while about the stuff they've been up to.

"Relax, would you," Brian said and rubbed his belly. "I just ate too much."

"You just ate two sandwiches," Emmett pointed out. "I've seen you go up to three so is not that. What's wrong?"

Brian sighed and looked around before he leaned forward. "I think that Justin and J.C. went out together."

Emmett frowned while Michael's eyes opened wide.

"He's cheating on you!" Michael yelled.

"Shut the fuck up," Brian hissed.

"That's nice," Emmett said as he looked at Michael before he rolled his eyes. Then he turned his attention to Brian. "Now, what the fuck are you talking about? Justin loves you to death. He wouldn't cheat on you…I think. I'm pretty sure."

Brian sighed. "I don't mean now. I mean, like I think they went out at one point before I was in the picture."

Emmett nodded slowly. "And you're jealous."

Brian sighed.

"Brian doesn't do jealousy, right Brian?" Michael asked. "I've been telling you that this guy…"

"Shush it," Emmett hissed at Michael.

Michael was startled. He just stared at Emmett with his eyes and his mouth open wide.

"Honey," Emmett said grabbing Brian's hand. "You don't have to be scared of anything. Justin loves you very much. He married you because he wants to be with you. You wouldn't have gone through with it if for a second you thought he didn't love you. Now if they had something or not it doesn't matter. That's the past he can't fix it just to make you happy. We all have one."

Brian sighed knowing it was true.

"I know for some people it's weird but actually there are people that don't want to tear each other's eyes out after they break up. They stay friends and good friends at that," Emmett explained. "I think they are good friends and nothing more."

"I heard him say something about them having a special relationship," Brian blurted out. He didn't want to tell anyone but he didn't know what to think anymore. Maybe Emmett would have a reasonable explanation for that too.

"Where they talking before that?" Emmett asked. "Maybe you missed something to it."

"I don't know," Brian said. "They were standing pretty close."

"Were they touching?" Emmett asked.

"No," Brian said.

"He's so fucking other guys," Michael said. "He's a bad man. He travels around all the time and…"

"Shut the fuck up, Michael!" Emmett hissed. "Jesus fucking Christ. Brian is supposedly your best friend so fucking act like it. Stop talking all this shit and help."

"Saying the truth is helping," Michael pointed out.

"You're some piece of work," Emmett said shaking his head. "I'll talk to Slater, Brian. I'll ask him about them, okay?"

Brian wasn't sure if he wanted to know. And even if he did who was to say that Slater wouldn't cover for his boss. He sighed and got up slowly. He put a few bills on the table to pay for all of them and said goodbye to his friends.

"Maybe we should investigate more," Michael said.

Emmett arched a brow. "That's actually not a bad idea."

"We can take a camera and take pictures of the two of them and then Brian would see what piece of shit Justin really is," Michael told him smiling.

"You know," Emmett said getting up quickly. "I changed my mind. And you know what, one day you should look yourself in the mirror. By the way, I'm moving out by the end of the month."

Michael opened his mouth. "What? Why? Wait," the man said. "What's going on?"

Emmett only shook his head and left. He was tired of living with Michael. Everyday it was the same story. He could hear Michael talking on the phone with Ben about Justin and how bad he was for Brian. He knew Justin wasn't the All-American poster boy but one thing he was, was a good person and a great husband to Brian. He was sure that Brian was just reading too much into things. He would call Slater and check it out.

***

Brian had come from the office in a happy mood. Because he was getting bigger it was better working from home but he missed having to wake up in the mornings to go to the office. Today he had to go to get some files and even thought Cynthia had offered to do so he said he could do it himself.

After he took a shower and ate a snack he went to his computer and searched the internet for a new recipe to make. He had to admit that he like cooking, not all the time but he liked it. Justin, true to his word, had showed him how to cook different things. They took turns making meals and when that didn't happen they would order out. Brian loved the arrangement. He didn't feel like he was the wife in their relationship.

In the middle of cooking Emmett dropped by to see how he was doing and to bring him yet another outfit for the baby. Some of them were outrageous and he had promised Justin he would burn them in time. Some of them were cute and some weird. All of them screamed Emmett.

"So have you found anything?" Brian asked.

"No," Emmett said and took a sip from the wine that Brian had poured him. "It smells delicious."

"Stay to eat," Brian told him. "Usually I wait for Justin but it would be good to have you eat with me."

"I don't want Justin to feel left out," Emmett said.

"I'll call him and ask him at what time he'll be home and see if we can wait," Brian said. "Some days he comes really late."

Emmett nodded at that. He was about to walk to the living room to put some music when he heard glass smashing. He turned around to see what was going on and saw Brian holding on to the kitchen island. The glass of juice he'd been drinking lay on the floor at his feet.

"Are you okay?" Emmett asked.

"I…ahh," Brian gasped out. "No," he said bending over.

Emmett ran to him. He put his glass on the counter and pulled Brian to him. Brian was surprised that Emmett was that strong. Who would have known, he thought.

"Come on, sit down," Emmett said and helped him to a chair. "I'm calling an ambulance."

"Oh god," Brian said.

Emmett was freaking out. He didn't know what he was supposed to do. He then called Justin but the blond didn't pick up so he tried Slater. The man told him he was on his way. Emmett told him to inform Justin but Slater said he was doing something else and that he wasn’t' with the guys.

"It will be okay," Emmett try to assure him as he moved around the kitchen turning everything off.

"Where is Justin?" Brian asked. "Oh my god. It hurts."

"I'm sorry," he said. "The baby wants out and apparently he wants out now."

"It's not time," Brian hissed.

Emmett was even more worried at that point. Fifteen minutes later, thank god, they were getting into the ambulance. Emmett called Slater again and told him where he was. Then he tried Justin again but no one was having luck. He decided to call the rest of the family. When Slater got there Justin was right with him.

"I found him," Slater said smiling. "I knew his cell phone was off."

"You're so great," Emmett told him. "Brian is waiting for you, that way."

Justin left to find his husband and the doctor. Pretty soon he was next to the brunet telling him that everything was going to be okay.

"I love you," Brian said smiling.

The older man caressed Brian's forehead. He held the brunet's hand telling him over and over that everything was going to be okay. Brian was so happy that Justin was there with him. He didn't think he would have been okay if his husband wasn't. By the time that Justin went back out to tell them that Brian and him had a daughter, everyone else had arrived at the hospital.

"Congratulations," J.C. said before he hugged him tightly.

"Can we see him?" Debbie asked.

"Yeah, but he's tired so just for a few minutes, please," Justin said. "I really want him to rest."

Lindsay went over to him and kissed him on the cheek. "I'm so happy."

"Congratulations," Melanie said and hugged him quickly.

Slater padded him in the back with a big smile in place.

Debbie, Emmett, and Ted hugged him while Vic shook his hand. When he looked at Michael the man was glaring at him. That only made Justin smirk before he went back to where Brian and his daughter were.

"She's so beautiful," Debbie said.

"Wow," J.C. said. "Can I hold her?"

"Uh," Brian said not sure.

"Sure thing," Justin said grabbing his daughter and passing it to J.C.

"She's beautiful," J.C. told them. "And she's so tiny. And look at her…she's just…" and that's all he said before he was lost staring at the newborn. He sniffed and then cleared his throat. Then he handed the girl back to Justin before he turned around and left.

"What's wrong with him?" Melanie asked Lindsay.

"I don't know," Lindsay said.

"J.C. is a bit emotional sometimes," Justin told them.

"I'm going to go out," Slater said. "There is too many of us here."

"Oh we can get coffee for everyone," Ted said and Slater nodded.

"I'm going with them," Vic said taking one last look at Brian's daughter.

"Are you sure J.C. is okay?" Brian asked his husband. "He looked…"

"He's okay," Justin said and kissed Brian. "Don’t' worry about it."

Brian had a feeling that it was more than that but he couldn't tell what. Maybe he was just going crazy. Maybe it was all the drugs they had pumped into him. He looked at Justin holding his daughter and smiled. He had a family; a beautiful family.

"Can I hold her?" Michael asked.

"Uh," Justin said as he looked at the man.

"Sure thing, Mikey," Brian said smiling.

"It's a girl," Michael said. "I told you it would be a girl."

Justin rolled his eyes.

"We need to take pictures," Emmett said.

"What is her name?" Debbie asked.

"Bella," Justin told them.

"What happened to Jessica?" Michael asked with a pout. "You told me that if it was a girl you would name her Jessica."

"I told you I would think about it," Brian said. "Justin really likes Bella."

"Maybe Jessica can be her middle name," Michael said sounding hopeful.

The brown haired man turned to look at Brian with a raised brow. Brian bit his lower lip and looked at his best friend.

"Actually it's Andrea," Brian said. "I picked it."

"That's a beautiful name," Lindsay said.

"Come on, picture time," Emmett said. "Give it to her father."

Michael looked at Justin and glared at him. He walked to Brian and gave him Bella. Then he bent down and kissed her on the forehead. Justin was livid but he controlled his emotions. After an hour of fussing over Brian and Bella everyone started leaving little by little. First the girls left saying that if Brian and Justin needed anything to let them know. Then Ted left with Vic and Debbie. Slater, J.C. and Emmett left next but Slater told his boss that they were going to by the parking lot waiting for him. The last one of the visitors to leave was Michael and until he did, Justin stayed in the room with Brian and his daughter.

"Where are you going?" Brian asked sleepy.

"Slater and J.C. are waiting for me downstairs," Justin told him.

"Are you leaving?" Brian asked.

"No," Justin assured him with a big smile. "I'm coming back."

The blond walked out of the hospital and towards the parking lot. Then he met with Slater and J.C. telling them what to do and that he was going to stay with the brunet in the hospital. They just smiled and told him they understood. They were happy about Bella's arrival as well.

"You take care," J.C. said putting his forehead with Justin's. "You got a family now. Now you have to be more careful."

"I know," Justin said.

"She reminds me so much of Molly," J.C. whispered. "I miss her so much."

"Stop it," Justin told him. He didn't want to think about her sister and what had happened to her when they were younger. He pulled his brother to him and hugged him tightly.

Emmett who was sitting inside the car arched a brow as he looked at J.C. and Justin. He thought that even thought Justin and J.C. were hugging they didn't look anything like lovers. To him they looked more like brothers but then again what did he know. He smiled when he felt Slater kissing him on the neck. Then his attention left Justin and the blond and concentrated on Slater.

"Call me if anything, okay?" J.C. told him.

Justin only nodded.

"I got you now," Michael said smiling.

When Justin looked to the side there was Michael taking pictures of him and smiling like the cat that ate the canary. He straightened up and pulled about two feet away from his little brother.

"What the fuck are you doing?" J.C. asked.

"I got you two," Michael said. "You're no good for Brian. He'll see that now."

"What the fuck?" J.C. asked. "You got a picture of him and me doing what exactly? Hugging! Wow, really? You cracked the case."

It only took Justin three long strides before he was in front of Michael. He grabbed the camera and crashed it on the floor. "You got shit," he hissed. "That's what you got," he said before he turned around to go back into the hospital. "I'm fucking tired of your bullshit."

Then Michael jumped on his back calling him an asshole. The dark haired man was pulled from behind and then launched hard into the asphalt.

"Holy shit," J.C. said sure that Slater had managed for Michael to brake something. He was sure that Slater had run all the way from where the car was to where they were.

"Fuck!" Michael hissed. "Fuck."

"Is the little roach," Slater said grabbing Michael by the neck with his left hand then with his right he pushed the tip of his gun on Michael's temple.

"Put that away," Justin hissed and Slater obeyed. The blond looked around quickly making sure no one was near.

"What are you guys doing?" Emmett asked as he ran to them.

"Do you think he needs the raw meat look?" J.C. asked. "You know, for being such an asshole."

Emmett bit his lower lip.

Michael pushed himself away from Slater. "You're mad because I found out about the two of you. You're mad because Brian will leave you now. Deep down I know you're not the one for him!"

"What is he talking about?" Emmett asked J.C. and the man only shrugged.

Slater grabbed him once again by the neck. He looked up at Justin. The blond looked around and then back down at Slater, he only nodded. Slater looked back at Michael and made a fist before he hit Michael on the face. Then again and again and again, he stopped smiled and hit him two more times. His knuckles would feel it in the morning. He let go of the man, Michael felt back spitting blood out. Slater then kicked Michael on the ribs twice before Justin told him to stop. Emmett tried to go to where Michael was to stop Slater but J.C. held him back by the arm and told him not to get involved in it.

"Jesus," J.C. said as he looked at Michael. Slater had used enough force and precision that with just a few blows he had made the other man bleed through the mouth and nose. And not just a bit of blood but enough to soak a towel.

"Stop please," Michael said.

"Please," Emmett begged. "Just stop it."

Justin bit his lower lip and then smiled from ear to ear; even then you could see how evil the smile was. "You remember the first time you fucked with me."

Michael moved into a fetal position and shook his head. "I've never done anything to you."

"No," Justin said as he squatted in front of the man. Then he pushed his finger into Michael's tender flesh.

"Ah," Michael said and cried. "Stop please."

"You pushed Brian, you guys had some sort of fight," Justin related while his face looked like he had a sour candy. "He could have lost the baby but thank god he didn't. I was going to kill you."

"Get the car," J.C. said to Slater and the man nodded.

Right now there wasn't anybody in the parking lot but he didn't want to stay and be found out. Slater grabbed Emmett and pulled him with him to the car even thought Emmett struggled a bit. He didn't want anything else happening to Michael. He knew the dark haired man had dug himself in that particular predicament but he didn't want them hurting Michael anymore.

"But Brian told me not to," Justin said. "Now you're here trying to take pictures of me trying to say that I am cheating on him. You're trying to hurt my kid again."

"That's not true," Michael said. "I'm just trying to make him see what a piece of shit you are! He deserves better."

J.C. licked his lips and looked at Justin hoping the man wouldn't strangle Michael right there.

"He has my complete devotion," Justin said. "Now, I still remember that it was you that called the cops on me."

Michael opened his eyes wide. He was actually scared. He looked to were his friend had left but Emmett wasn't coming back to help him.

"And now this," Justin said. "This is what you're going to do. You're going to go home and stop fucking with me! If you tell anyone about this I would fucking find you and beat the shit out of you before I kill you. Do you understand me? Fuck with me one more time and I will make you disappear forever and remember I got many friends. One way or another I get my wishes done. Stop fucking with me and Brian, do you hear me?" he said and grabbed Michael by the neck to pull him up a bit. Then he leaned closer and whispered into Michael's ear. "You know that if I kill you Brian might be sad for a few days but that's nothing that I can't fix. I am more important to him than a piece of trash like you. So back the fuck off or I'll make sure you do," he said before he pushed Michael down hard and stood up.

Justin walked away towards the hospital. J.C. shook his head and suddenly heard the honk. It was Slater; he took one last look at Michael and then left.

"Is he okay?" Emmett asked from the back of the car.

"We didn't kill him," J.C. said. "He's the one asking for it, Emmett."

Emmett looked out the window at Michael that was slowly getting up. He sighed and hoped that Michael just stayed away. He knew that if he kept pushing something bad was going to happen.

Michael swallowed and watched as they left. When he was sure he was alone he started walking. He didn't know what to do. He was scared but he couldn't leave Brian now. Justin was a monster and he had to stop him one way or another. Then Brian would see him as his hero and finally they could be together.

***

"So," Brian said and looked back as he stood to the side of the kitchen island. He was making sure that Justin was still in the living room and not listening to him.

"Well," Emmett said. "I talked to Slater and he swears that Justin and J.C. had never gone out. He also told me that it could be because J.C. is straight. I do believe them, Brian."

"He is straight?" Brian asked shocked.

"Yes," Emmett said. "You see, I told you. You had nothing to worry about."

Brian sighed.

"How are you doing?" Emmett asked. "How is Bella?"

The brunet smiled. "She's great. She's so beautiful, Em. I still can't believe she's here."

"Hey," Justin said wrapping his arms around the brunet.

Brian let the phone drop and turned around with wide eyes. "You scared the shit out of me."

Justin chuckled and bent down to pick the phone. He put it on his ear. "Hey," he smiled when he heard Emmett's voice once again congratulating him. "Yeah, it's fucking great. Nah, he dropped the phone because I scared him. Yeah, I know," he said and laughed. "Okay, bye."

The blond put the cordless phone down and stared at the brunet. "He said he'll call you later. Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Brian said and smiled. "I just, you really scared me. I didn't hear you come in here."

"I'm a deadly ninja," Justin joked. "That's what we're trained to do."

"So, that's your secret," Brian said hugging the blond.

Justin stared into Brian's eyes and arched a brow. "Something like that."

The taller man swallowed and pulled away after giving Justin a kiss on the forehead. He had said it jokingly but he knew that the blond did have secrets. Secrets that he knew ate at the blond and still he wouldn't tell them to anyone.

"I'm a bit tired," Brian said.

Justin nodded. "Let's go to bed."

They walked to their bedroom hand in hand. Brian had set Bella's crib next to their bed even thought Justin had slaved creating the perfect nursery for their daughter. Brian just didn't want to have her so far away because he might not be able to hear her if she needed him or so he claimed. There were a few bottles around the place along with pampers and swipes and every imaginable thing for a newborn. Justin had pointed out at one point that they had a baby monitor but that only got him a glare from the brunet.

"She's sleeping," Brian said smiling. "She looks like an angel."

Justin sat on the bed and then lay back slowly. He smirked and crossed his arms behind his head to get more comfortable. "So, when do you think we should have another one?” the man asked with a big smile.

“Justin,” Brian complained with a little grin in place. “I’m still healing and you’re talking about another one?”

The brown haired older man chuckled. “I know. I want to have a hundred of them to love them all.”

Brian laughed as he moved to his side. “She’s so beautiful, isn’t she?”

The older man nodded and caressed Brian's face. "You're beautiful."

The younger man opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of Justin's cell ringing on the night table. Justin looked at it and got up.

"Give me a second," Justin said and left.

Brian wondered who it was. He looked at the alarm clock to see the time; eleven thirty. He was so going to have a fit if Justin told him that he was going out. He didn't care if that would make him look like a child.

"What do you want?" Justin asked as he stood in front of the window in the living room. "It's late."

"I know, but I needed to tell you something," J.C. said. "There is a car outside your house. I think it's Tony."

Justin frowned. "What?"

"Yeah," J.C. said. "I don't know what he's doing. No clue."

The blond pinched the bridge of his nose. "Okay then, you follow him wherever he goes, find out what's going on and report to me as soon as you do."

"Okay," J.C. said and hung up.

Justin went back to the room and put the cell phone down making sure to put it on vibrate first. Then he took off his clothes and stayed in his underwear. Brian was already under the covers.

"Who was that?" Brian asked.

"Just work," Justin told him.

Brian licked his lips and let Justin move closer to him. They kissed for a while and said goodnight.

"Hey," Brian whispered after a long while. "Are you awake?"

"Uh, yeah," Justin replied and moved to his side facing Brian.

"You told me once that you went to prison," Brian said. "You never said why."

The blond sighed; he didn't want to talk about it.

"I found out that you killed someone," Brian informed him and then bit his lower lip. For a long time he had wanted to ask about it but always got scared. Now he'd made up his mind.

"Who told you that?" Justin asked a bit angry. His voice raised more than he wanted.

For a second or maybe more Brian just froze staring at his husband, wondering if he knew the man at all. "The baby," he said trying to get the meaning that she could wake up but she slept on.

The blond sighed. "Brian, of all the things that I don't ever want to talk about, this is one of them."

"Why?" Brian asked.

"'Cause right now I'm not sure I could give you an honest answer," the blond told him.

The brunet didn't understand anything. Lately, everything was changing with him and Justin. He felt like they were growing apart. Justin was always anxious, always on edge and quieter than ever. It scared him a lot. He didn't push it and just moved around a bit trying to find a comfortable place.

An hour later Justin was sound asleep but Brian wasn't. The brunet got up and went to the kitchen to get something to drink. When he came back he heard Bella fussing a bit. He went to her and then found out that she needed to be changed. It only took a few minutes and before he knew it she was back to sleep, warm and clean. He was happy that he knew how to do it now; the first few tries hadn't been pretty. He smiled and was about to get back on the bed when something popped into his head.

Slowly he moved around until he was on Justin's side. He grabbed the blond's phone and checked the last call. He glared at it before he put the phone back where he found it. He got in bed and under the covers. Then he pretended go to sleep as silent tears rolled down his face.

Justin opened his eyes slowly after a while. He knew that Brian had been moving around the room. He was a light sleeper; it was in the job description. He smirked thinking that Brian was the biggest idiot for thinking that he would cheat on him. He had told him already again and again that he was the only one for him. Right now he knew that Brian needed him so pretending like he was talking in his sleep and moving around he ended up with his right leg and right arm draped over the brunet. Making sure to whisper Brian's name along with a 'yeah, kid do me like that'. One way or another he would make Brian see that there was no one else for him.

The brunet who still was awake bit his lower lip and then smiled a bit. Justin was dreaming with him. He really had nothing to worry about. He had to stop thinking that Justin was cheating on him. Everyone was right, the older man loved him. He sighed and closed his eyes to be able to just sleep. He didn't know why but there was something telling him that Justin was keeping something away from him and it scared the shit out of him.
