AGT Redux
I just have to say I hate Vegas Week on America's Got Talent. The judges kick people off without really showing you what they're doing and it always looks like they kick off some of the most talented people! Though I was very sad to see the lady from the Russian Bar Trio get injured, I am glad we have this new wild card vote in order to bring back one of the acts they kicked off.
Everybody go exercise your right to go vote for the AGT wild card slot!
I really missed the Wild Card Show when they didn't have it last year. I still haven't decided who I'm going to vote for since I really enjoyed both Dan Myer the sword swallower (see previous post for link) and the dancer Xclusive, but both Kyle Rifkin and Donald Braswell are excellent singers also and I can't believe they got booted from the semis and left on crappy acts like Indigo! I can't wait till after the Olympics when we know who they're bring back.
In other news, Olympic Opening Ceremonies viewing at Lynda's with Chinese food was most enjoyable! It was awesome to get to see everybody again and we had a fun time rating the olympic fashions from around the world. I think we decided Sweden won for best dressed in Chinese style clothes but in the Swedish flag's colors. The American outfits were designed by Ralph Lauren and man did it look like it. We looked like a bunch of ivy league school preps. I didn't like it much except for the hats. It was pretty funny to watch Bush be so bored during the parade of nations that at one point he started checking his watch. LOL Way to be classy dude. =P
I'm making no progress whatsoever on the condo, but that's pretty much typical at the point since I'm to tired to unpack or clean when I get home at night these days. As long as people don't mind looking at yellow walls and boxes they can come visit me any time though. =) Catch ya all later!
