Fandom wank makes Katie sad.

So everyone knows that fandom wank happens, though I've never personally experienced it. Well, I've seen more wank on fandomsecrets and fanficrants  in the last two days than in my entire life up to date! I've always seen fandom as a nice place with good people, but this kind of think really depresses me. :(

P.S. I commented on the racebending thread, and I've never been so terrified at getting a response to a comment before.
