Just saying a mid-NaNo hello to everyone. How are we doing?
Also, I wanted to show off my new icon I found- not only is this icon beautiful, but it's from my favorite book, and the subject of my NaNo story, so it's appropriate. :)

Part of my NaNo story.
The agent looked eerily like a military messenger sent to tell someone that a loved one has died, the person you never want to see looking at you. “First of all, you will need to be trained for this mission, and we will need to begin as soon as possible. After your training, which will be quite extensive, the mission will take quite a while to complete.” The commander’s voice caught. “And Dr. Wallace, this is not a mission where we expect the survival of the crew- any of you. The rest of the crew will not know the exact details of your mission, only as much as necessary, and for security reasons we will need to change your identity permanently before you report. I’m sorry.”
Charles had gone numb, staring at the ground. So he was going to die in space.
