“But…that’s not fair…” Sirius huffed.
“It isn’t, but I daresay that the Order needs you Sirius. If I have to I will personally gag and bind you here.” Dumbledore looked over his spectacles at Sirius.
Sirius blinked, “What?”
Dumbledore nodded slowly, “I do believe you heard me Sirius. Now I must be going.” He stood up and with a swirl of robes walked out of the kitchen.
Sirius sat there for a few moments. He couldn’t believe he was being told to stay cooped up in a place he loathed. Well, one way or another he’d find a way out.

Remus rolled his eyes as he snatched the parchment away from Sirius, reading it over quickly. He gave Sirius a droll look, “Only you would think that.”

The moon always held some special place in Sirius’ heart. Well, honestly the full moon did. He smiled as he thought of his friends, and what adventures they would embark on in the next few nights.
He sighed as he looked up at the almost full moon. Won’t be much longer, only two more nights to go, he thought as he ran his fingers through the grass.
Maybe they would go to Hogsmede. They hadn’t been out that way in a while. He shook his head as he sat up, no they couldn’t do that. The last time had almost proved fatal for a young witch. No, they would stay in the Shrieking Shack this time.

Sirius raised his brow at the liquid in front of him. The music of the club pounded around him, making the liquid jump as if it had a life of its own.
He looked back at James, “What did you say this was again?”
James downed his shot and looked over to him with a cocked head, “Supposed to be good from what I hear. Come on mate, drink it!”
Sirius inhaled then downed the shot. He sputtered a little then looked back at James with a sour expression, “I hate you.”
“Oh, but I love you Padfoot.”

“He can have his pick of any girl. Why her?”
“I don’t know. I thought he’d pick somebody at least a little better looking.”
Sirius rolled his eyes as he passed the jealous Ravenclaw girls. He didn’t know why these girls were so upset about James and Lily. Honestly, Sirius thought the pair was very strikingly handsome.
He turned the corner and smiled. There was a good reason why the pair of girls he had passed was upset. At the top of the staircase stood Lily and James snogging like there was no tomorrow.
“Oy! You two! Cut it out, before I lose my dinner!” He smirked as the two pulled away, breathing a little heavy.
Lily looked down, her face mottled with red.
James looked over to him, “You haven’t eaten dinner yet, you dog.”
Lily looked back up and over to Sirius, “We were waiting on you, and we got a little bored.”
Sirius cocked a brow, “Really? I’m sorry. Maybe next time you two can go on with out me.”
James smirked, “Why are you late anyways?”
Sirius walked up to them, putting his arms around both of their shoulders. He smiled, “I was in the Astronomy Tower doing some naughty things myself.” He thrust his fingers next to James’ nose.
James made a face and slapped his hand away, “Blimey Sirius! Who was she this time?”
Sirius sighed, “I’ll never tell.” He gave Lily a wink, which made her turn even more scarlet. He removed his arms and shoved his hands into his pockets, “So Evans, how are your classes going anyways? I know you’ve got a heavy class schedule this term. I’m surprised you even make it to some of your classes.”
Lily smiled, “They’re good, but I do find I have a little free time every now and again.” She adjusted her robes.
Sirius smiled as he saw a little glimmer of gold that got tucked away underneath her robes.
