Solar Flare growled slamming her money on the counter. “I said I need one White Chocolate Mocha, one Iced Café Latte, one Espresso Macchiato no foam, and a Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte!”
“Yea what ever.” The snobby counter guy muttered turning his back on her taking his time to correct the order. “Moody bitch.” He mumbled, “PMS much?”
Solar stormed out of the tiny shop carrying the small cardboard caddy loaded up with coffee, the stores fire alarm blaring as she leaves.

Snow Fury lay quietly in the cool grass watching a distant hawk make lazy circles in the sky. She knew first hand the feeling flying gave you and part of her wanted to fly with the bird with out a care. Not today though. Today she was grounded reminding herself how it feels with earth under her feet, grass brushing her cheeks. It is something she forced herself to do every so often, as to not take her gifts for granted.
