"A present," Phoenix sighed, arms crossed. "Pearl helped me pick it out."

"It’s fancy tea," Phoenix said. "It’s supposed to taste like the ocean. I don’t know what that means, it’s all the same to me, but I thought that you’d --"
Later that evening, with two cups steaming on the side table and Edgeworth’s tongue in his mouth, Phoenix reflected that if the ocean tasted half as delicious, he’d have to go someday.
