Yanagi 'Tarou stood on the pier, staring out at an ocean that reached far beyond what he could actually see. His two best friends came up quietly behind him.
"We've been looking for you. What are you doing?"
'Tarou turned around, looking at them. "Wondering what's out there." He answered simply, turning around, and started walking.
"'Tarou?" Seiji asked, a bit concerned. 'Tarou smiled at him. Seiji relaxed and smiled as well, falling in step with them. "It's not really much different here than it is over there. Just the language is different."
'Tarou looked at him. "I always forget you grew up in America. It seems like you've been with us forever."
Seiji smiled. "I have in a way." He said. "Yanagi-sensei used to send my dad video of you and Gennosuke playing against each other." 'Tarou groaned at hearing that. "You two actually gave me some ideas on how to play against Dad, oddly enough."
"Glad to have helped." 'Nosuke said, looking away, slightly embarrassed as well.
Seiji wrapped his arms around his two best friends in the world. "Wherever we're going, whatever we do, we'll do it together." He promised.
'Tarou smiled a little. With these two, he could believe it. "Together." 'Tarou and 'Nosuke echoed in unison, laughing as they noticed that.
"We'll go around the world and cross the oceans. We'll be unstoppable." Seiji said, laughing as well. This is what friends were for - helping you realize your dreams and creating new ones with them.
