Summary: Seiji did something stupid...and rumors spread about the wrong people...
Yanagi Rentarou was rather angry. He wasn't showing it on the outside, but he hated how rumors seemed to have gotten started and spread and some how got slightly exaggerated beyond the facts.
"Seiji, it has come to my attention that there are several rumors regarding what happened. I think we need to clear these up today." 'Tarou said, sounding scarily like his father.
Seiji nodded. "You must admit, your own actions did contribute to that." He said. "We'll get this straightened up." He promised.
That afternoon, Seiji had gathered his team together and glared at them.
"I'm sure the rumors have spread to everyone." He glared at a couple of his regulars in particular. "'Tarou and I are going to set things straight." 'Tarou got up and took over the story.
"This is what really happened...
'Tarou had been sitting in the living room reading a book when the door bell rang, and being the person closest to it, he answered it, to find Seiji holding a bouquet of flowers.
"I'm flattered, Seiji, but you should know I'm not your type." 'Tarou said, knowing full well the flowers weren't for him. Seiji coughed.
"I know that. They're for Ami."
Ami was standing behind the boys of the tennis team, trying not to blush herself to death. A few of them looked back at their manager.
"I'm...going over...here now." Ami said, moving away from everyone, as a couple of her sempai snickered.
Seiji smiled. "Feel like running laps?" He asked, which shut them up very quickly. He looked at Ami, smiled a little, and turned back to everyone. "So, there it is. I like Ami, not 'Tarou. And even if I did like him like that, I would still expect you to respect us."
"Seiji..." 'Tarou sighed. Where was a nice brick wall to hit his head against when he needed one?
"I'm making a point, 'Tarou." Seiji said. "I won't tolerate intolerance, is that clear?" He said. There was a general noise of assent. "Then everyone run 20 laps, and we'll get down to business. After all, we have tournaments to win."
