"What is that?" Gennosuke asked Seiji as he came in the door. Seiji just smiled and walked past Gennosuke into the Sanada's living room.
"I'll tell you when 'Tarou gets here."
Gennosuke was about to close the door when the other boy came up. "I'm here." He stepped inside. "What's going on?"
Gennosuke led them to the living room where Seiji was sitting, holding on to something that looked very old and very cute.
'Tarou just stared. "What is that?" He echoed Gennosuke's earlier question.
"Snowdrop. He's our mascot this year." Seiji said. 'Tarou and Gennosuke exchanged a look that clearly said their friend and captain had lost his mind.
"Seiji...No one is going to take us seriously."
Seiji smiled. "That's the beauty of it. He's so cute, but no one would suspect that he could be deadly too. Our manager likes it."
'Tarou sighed. "Ami is our manager. And as a somewhat typical girl, she thinks any stuffed animal is cute."
"Snowdrop is deadly as well." Seiji protested.
"I agree with Gennosuke. No one will take Rikkai seriously if we carry that thing around."
"Oh, they'll take us seriously because Ami will the one carrying it around, and no one is going to care if a first year girl carries around something cute."
"You are not giving that dirty old thing to my sister."
Seiji stared at him with the patented Yukimura glare of doom.
No one mentioned the stuffed bunny that stuck out of Ami's tote bag at the district finals. Rikkai had too scary a reputation to let something cute like that ruin it.
Though the male half of the Yanagi family was rather creeped out by the bunny.
