“Nicholas, c’mon now, maybe you should just-“
“I’m not speaking to you now, Miss Armstrong.” Nicholas Rush was stuffing his duffle bag whilst grimacing as he looked around at the first technologically sound equipment that they had come across on a planet in a while. Everyone wanted to leave simply because Eli had sounded the alarm that they were low on supplies and needed to recharge the ship, thus, they needed to gate to a planet with food while they had the chance.
Disappointingly so, Chloe had agreed with the decision to leave, even after he had attempted to tell her the importance of this possible find.
“I’m not arguing that,” she pleaded as he continued to grimace at her, stuffing his bag full of his equipment and whatever he could take with him, “but throwing a tantrum and saying that you’re going to stay regardless of what we say isn’t exactly the answer, is it?” She put a hand on his duffle bag and smiled at him for a moment, still a look of pleading in her eyes.
He was caught in her kind eyes for a moment before shaking his head no, to which she sadly looked behind him.
“Don’t look, Nicholas, ‘kay?” He blinked at her a few times in confusion before sighing and shaking his head.
“The shuttlepod’s back there and I’ll bloody look at it if I want to,” he scoffed, going to turn his head just to spite her.
“No, really, don’t-“
Wham!
Sgt. Greer’s fist hit Rush in the face, hard enough to knock him out so that the soldier could sigh and drag him back to the shuttlepod. Chloe put her hand to her head in stress as she watched the soldier pick the smaller man up.
“Told you not to look,” she whispered, closing her eyes and shaking her head.
