Uni Stuff
I'm so utterly bored and I have so much studying to do. It's just been one piece of work after one piece of work after one piece of work. Got the parasitology essay out of the way. I really enjoyed writing that so that helped. It was on how some parasites can influence host behaviour in order to pass into another host so they can enter another stage in their life cycle. I was hoping to hand it in yesterday but as I've still got 2 wks to hand it in, the box it goes into isn't out yet and the administer told me she might lose it so it's stuck on a shelf, causing me to second guess myself and so consider redoing it altogether. But I'll leave it as it is.
I'm hoping to finish my genome biology report tonight but I don't see that happening. It's on 7 weeks of pracs where we didn't have a clue why we were doing what we were doing. So today during the last prac we had a lot of questions. Everything hopefully is sorted out now. Actually it turned out to be quite interesting but during the prac hardly anything was explained which is usual for UEA lab work. :( It was on unusual DNA repair proteins in Ferroplasma acidarmanus.
My boss from the studentship I done during the summer is now teaching in microbial physiology and biotechnology and I would really like to know how I did in the growth kinetics assignment for that unit.
Oh and I'm not applying to study in Holland anymore. I was sent more info on the course and it isn't for me. There is far more choice for my interests in the MSc in King's College London so I'll have to apply to that one. Still haven't filled out the form. Hopefully will do it tomorrow.
