Too much rigging.  I've forgotten how to draw.  Dur.

Heh, I see what you did there!

I like the idea, and it's a nice pose. Her butt is a little pointy, maybe. But it's so good to see your drawing!

Other people would have thought that a euphemism. Or is it...? Apparently there's a Freudian version but I was never able to find it.

It's pointy because originally she was half sitting on something and then I didn't draw it. I'm not saying that makes it alright, it's just what it is. Maybe I'll add it later. Maybe. I'm actually going to try and draw more regularly. Maybe then each time won't proceed thusly:

1. start drawing.
2. look at the hideous thing I have wrought.
3. dig around brain for drawing switch.
4. reengage drawing protocols.
5. draw.

I am all too familiar with that process these days. Though I feel like it never gets much past step 3. Can only keep trying, I guess!

But you're getting back into MM! That should help. And as always I hope your hand is doing well.

Well... not getting back to it yet. Maybe just thinking about how to approach it - I figure I can't be inking the way I used to (it was never efficient or really satisfactory, anyhow), so I'm trying to figure out other methods that might work.

And thanks! I think things are ok now. Not sure what caused the bad spell a few weeks back, but it doesn't seem so ornery at the moment?

That's so good to hear for your hand and MM. And let me know if you learn any good inking tricks. The way I was doing cadex was pretty miserable.

Also, can I ask you a favor? I've got a draft for the murder comedy done and was wondering if I could send you a copy to look over? It would spoil the whole thing of course so it's ok if you don't want to read it. It's eight pages.

I'm wondering if I can get away without inking at all, like using my pencils as "inks". I've seen it work (see: Lackadaisy) and generally my pencils end up being pretty tight anyway, so... we'll see!

Also, OH GOODNESS YES I would love to read your draft! If you make it a pdf I can add comments to it, if you want. Let me know how much or what kind of feedback you're looking for. EXCITING.
