It's a Miracle (RP with sa_booth}

Semi-continued from here.  Assuming in between they went home to clack a meow boom chick a meow boom. This is a newly created verse with sa_booth  called Miracle!Verse.

She didn't believe in miracles.  She did believe in extraordinary people who did extraordinary things by their own talents and will.  And she certainly didn't believe that you could break

A completely unguarded smile is what she'll see upon his face. He's both relaxed and content, unwilling to shift away. If there was a way to make this moment last forever, he'd do anything and everything in his power to make it so.

Even though she knows that it is impossible, it feels like her heart gets bigger when she sees the look on his face. It is an overwhelming feeling. One she can't ever remember experiencing before. She nuzzles closer to him.

His smile only seems to intensify. He wraps a second arm around her, encouraging her to nuzzle as closely as she'd like.

"Can we just... call in sick from life? Spend all day every day right here," he whispers.

[dr_tbrennan]

She wraps her own arm around his stomach and places a kiss to where her head lies on his chest.

"That would be highly irresponsible," she says before looking back up at him. "But right now, definitely tempting."

[sa_booth]

He hooks a finger gently under her chin and brings her lips to his. "Very tempting," he echoes.

[dr_tbrennan]

She smiles into his mouth and kisses him back before laying her head back on his chest just under his chin.

"That was quite satisfying, by the way," she says as she runs a hand absentmindedly over his chest.

[sa_booth]

"That was more than satisfying. I've never..."

[dr_tbrennan]

"Yes, I believe that was a gross understatement on my part," she said. "You've never what?"

[sa_booth]

"I honestly thought that I'd made love before. But this... This wasn't like anything else."

[dr_tbrennan]

Her hand comes to stop over his heart. "I...cannot say I have had a lot of experience with 'making love,'" she says quietly. "But that was certainly better than any other sexual experience I have had thus far."

[sa_booth]

He smiles. Only she could put it like that. A hand comes to rest over hers.

"You saying I'm the best?" he teases.

[dr_tbrennan]

She rolls her eyes but smiles. "At the risk of taking your cockiness to new heights, I think that is what I'm saying."

[sa_booth]

"Too late. Today is all about taking things to new heights."

[dr_tbrennan]

She rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "Just assure me we aren't going to crash and burn."

[sa_booth]

His expression grows more serious. He's not ignorant to the possible ramifications of their actions. "We'll make it work, Bones."

[dr_tbrennan]

"We better," she says. "Because I would very much like this to continue."
