Hey. For those who were asking about Laurie: She let Jesus into her life fully Saturday night, she gave in to GOD. It was so awesome!! I looooove it.
Church was fun last night. We attacked Jenny, tickling. It was mean, but kind of funny at the same time. Then we went to McDonalds...dollar menu!
Can you guys pray for someone for me? Jenny is getting ready to turn 18. The catch is, as soon as she does she has to pay for everything for herself. Just pray that she gets through. Thanks guys, you are awesome!
I am kind of stealing this from Chris. I am going to put it into easier terms. As he told his story, I knew where it was going. There is a husband(Joe), wife(Lisa) and thier son(Josh). They had a next door nieghbor(Mose). This nieghbor wasn't a nice guy. He always picked on Josh, callimg him a punk. Lisa ended up talking to Mose. Mose was alwasy and polite gentleman around Lisa. Mose envited her over for coffe one day. She went only to talk to Mose, she felt he was lonely. Josh went off to collage, and Lisa spent more time at Moses house. When Josh would call home he knew something wasn't right. One day he asked Joe what was wrong, and he explained. Josh was outraged, and asked why Joe didn't do anything. Joe explained that if he took her away, he would only only take her body. Her mind would still be set on Mose. Josh came home to see his father staring out the window waiting for Lisa to come home. Josh went to Moses house and asked for Lisa. He wouldn't let him have her. Josh tried to push the door open, and go in. When he did Mose pulled a gun on him. Josh had two holes in his chest. Lisa ran down stairs to see what had happened. When she got to the door, Joe was standing over Josh. Lisa fell to her knees and begged for Joe's forgiveness. This is how I see the story: Josh is Jesus, Lisa is the sinners of the world, Joe is GOD, and Mose is Saten(or sin). Joe(GOD) waited for Lisa, the sinner, to come home. He never tried to pull her away. Josh(Jesus) came to save Lisa(sinner) from Mose(sin, or Saten). In the end Josh(Jesus) died for Lisa(sinners). I hope that clears that up for you.
