Past the hurdle

So yesterday was the first event of MT that I was a Storyteller for (although they call them Cast managers.)

I deliberately did not plan that much of my own for plots since my first priority was wrapping up the threads from previous storytellers. I managed to swiftly get through my checklist. In hindsight I should plan for more stuff, and plan what to trim if there is not time for it.

A few players i think are a little embittered about some plans that did not pan out the way they planned. 90% of it was all player driven interactions but I can't help but feel guilty about it (and much of it even us ST's didn't know what they were going to do).

I am very happy that Myna & Magpie worked out so completely perfect... it was meant to be something to be comedy relief to make the moot more entertaining and fun, and to correct the bone gnawer ragabash on what ragabash responsibilities are. She ended up teaching greater lessons and was the best Fool evar!

Grain (a Spirit of alcohol) and the Hind (aka Doe) were sent out as representatives of Stag for starting up a Beltane festival of booze. I was stoaked at how well that woked out although some of the players I had hoped would interact with them didn't... the consolation is that I hope they were memoprable for those they DID interact with.

Well now I have the stress of working on the next game in a fraction of the time we had for this last one... well at least I have a better Idea of what to do. the only thing I did wrong by Nat was to wrongly reference "Primogen" which apparently did not exist in the Dark Ages canon. *shrug*
