Why is family so important to you? I'm not knocking it, I'm just asking you to explain it to me. It's relevant to my interests.

It started out important because everyone said it was. Because family is traditionally important on this planet, it was important to me as High Commander to mimic it.

And then, suddenly, it really was important. Because a family is like our Units. Just, tighter knit. They love for one another and care about one another and it's nice to love and care about people. I liked the way I feel needed as a father and brother, and I...really can't help myself from wanting to do things to make the world easier for you all and wanting to protect you from everything.

It's...the most fulfilling thing I've ever done.
