I have a favor to ask of those who work at the hospital.  If it isn't too much trouble, I would like to speak to a member of the staff.

In addition, if someone happens to have a cigarette that they are willing to spare, it would be greatly appreciated.

That would be fine, I think, but most of the storage is in the basement.
