Marcus has been merrily driving down the hallway, on the hunt for Dr. Calvin-he saw her recently, and Dad gave the okay to go and see if she didn't mind talking right now or not. So the miniature AI heads for the lounge-pausing as he notices an unfamiliar human in the doorframe. Deciding to investigate, he rolls closer, stopping behind Karr.
"Something called 'Tears of the Giraffe.' It's part of a series. Depends on style more than it ought to, but it's not bad." She smiled a bit. "Good to see you."
He doesn't notice the little power wheels type thing behind him at first. "It's good to see you too. I should probably stop by more often." He moved away from the door and went to sit across from her.
Marcus listens curiously for a moment, then pokes his prow into the room as Karr moves away. "Hi, Dr. Calvin," he offers, followed by "Hi,...um..." He isn't sure what to call Karr; he doesn't look like a scientist or intern.
"Hi, Karr!" He remembers talking about Karr with Dr. Calvin; she said he and Dad didn't get along. But that didn't mean he and Karr couldn't get along, did it? How bad could he be?
The little AI drives towards Karr, pausing at Karr's reaction. "What's a fuck?"
Karr instinctively picks his feet up off the floor and tucks them under him on the couch. He's feeling pretty feral again, and having a mini-me touch him was not on the agenda. "Why don't you go look it up?"
Karr looks down at Marcus a little like a bird would eye a worm. "You already asked me, and I told you to go look it up." He looks back at Calvin with a slightly pained expression. Make it stop...
"Oh. Okay." Marcus backs up by a meter or so, although his prow continues to be pointed at Karr. He decides to let the word thing go, opting instead to go to a different topic. "You can change between being a human and a car like Dad can, right?"
Calvin raises an eyebrow at Karr-- she'll call Marcus to sit by her, if Karr would prefer... though it's simplest, really, if Karr just answers Marcus's questions.

"Hello, Marcus. This is Karr." And that was a bare minimun of information-- ever the scientist, wanting to see what would happen.

"I told you he was small," Calvin reminds Karr.

His attention swiftly returns to Karr. "'Cause I can ask you?" he offers, rolling a bit closer out of curiousity. "Why're you sitting funny?"

Karr, she knew, wasn't fond of a lot of things. Possibly Marcus would end up on the list, as well.
"And I did tell you what his shell was made from, Karr-- or rather, you guessed it."
