Hello everyone! I am back and have almost caught up with posts. I missed you guys.
It was Tina's last day at work today. How dare she go off and pursue higher education, deserting me in the trenches. ::squinting hard at her:: Even though I worked with her for only a few months, I am going to miss her. She was always smiling, quick to laugh (with me and at me), inquisitive, intuitive, encouraging, always good natured..... She's also taken some psychology courses and so we could psychoanalyze the mornings away. She was a delight.
It's funny that I told Tina things I have never told the majority of other people I work with. Why is it that some bonds and trusts are forged swiftly and without reserve? You can meet someone and know instantly that you can show them all of yourself and you're in safe hands. With other people you know you'll never go beyond the polite stage.
Good luck Tina. You're intelligent, dedicated and have a sharp sense of humour. You will achieve great things. ::hugs::
