I know I'm a little behind the times here as b poeple are now giving reviews of Episode III, but, Ok, so I saw Episode II last night for the first time (On tele), and I must say, I didn't think it was that bad. I think it was quite badly directed in parts and could have been acted a little better on the part of that christensen fellow, but on the whole soooo much better than Episode I.
hawk_eye, you are definitely right, Lucas could not write (or direct for that matter) a love seen to save his life! But, it fit. Everything actually fit, and I felt that the little twist at the end kinda worked. And no Jar Jar!!
I think the problem ius that Lucas has now got all this funky technology and CG to use and he just forgets to write GREAT story, and I guess that that was also the point of the first lot of movies as well. It was cool, but the script wasn't all that great!!
Maybe Lucas should have stolen his story from the Celtic Myth Cycle again, maybe that woudl have made the story that much better!!
Oh, and Jase your review of the movie last year (or was it the year before?)was spot on! I liked when he tooled around on his motorbike the best!!
