Thanks to everyone who came to Slash 2 yesterday. It seemed to go OK and, as always, I learnt a lot - though perhaps a little too much about ejaculating ents. The delegates were an absolute delight and the papers both erudite and hilarious, a perfect combination.
There'll be another study day on 25 Feb next year, which will be the 3rd and last part of the epic trilogy - so if you've any ideas for panels, workshops, whatever, let me know. Personally, I'd like to see more on Harry Potter, vidding and fan films, RPS and F/F, but that's just me. I'll put out a formal call for papers very soon.
If you wrote a paper and want it considered for IDeoGRAMS journal (print, incidentally, at least for now), then let me know and I'll send you a style sheet. We can only take 4 or 5 articles, so please don't be offended if you don't get in.
One day I'll work out how livejournal functions and do a more elaborate, all singing all dancing posting, but right now, up to my ears in puking infants and with multiple deadlines to hit, life just seems too short.
