There was a certain peace out on the pier, the rippling water lending a relaxing effect, easing the chaos that ruled her mind.

There were no words for her to describe it, the things that she had learned whilst working in the infirmary had startled…no, rather, shocked her. She had assumed that the Goa’uld would remain within their own galaxy, that she would never have to see the pain brought upon by a symbiote, and while she had never met Doctor MacGregor, she wished there was some she could help.
However Adrienne had never been good at expressing such things to…anyone, save for a few close friends, and would end up watching from a professional distance as they mended slowly.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she shifted, folding her legs beneath her and leaning against the wall, hands limply resting in her lap, she had come here almost directly after her shift had finished and checking that she was no longer needed at the moment, only link back into Atlantis was her comm. set. She pulled her jacket tighter around her body, and watched the water.
