Vote. Tomorrow. Vote.

Tomorrow is one of those moments in American history you cannot afford to ignore. It will determine the course of America into the 21st century. We're off to a lousy start, but we have the chance to make things better.

If you don't think your vote counts, please consider this.

If you live in Pennsylvania, a Commonwealth of approximately 12.4 million people, there are only 8.7 million registered voters (about 4.4 million Democrats, 3.2 million Republicans with the rest 'other' or 'no' affiliation.) That's 70% of the population. Great, huh? But if we barely break our best record, that means 4.25 million votes will be cast to represent those 12.4 million.

So. It comes down to who wants it more. Why? What's a few million votes?

Because it all comes down to 270 Electoral votes for the entire country. So if you live in Pennsylvania, 21 people will decide to the Commonwealth - in a UNIFIED VOICE - who we endorse for President. If 51% of the popular vote goes one way, so go ALL those delegates.

What's one percent? About 42,000 votes. I think Popfiend has gotten more comments than that in a single post. That's a sold out concert at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. That's slightly more than the population of York, PA.

And the latest polls have Barack Obama leading John McCain, 52% to 46% with the rest undecided.

He's up by only 2% with a margin of error around 4%.

Dems have the edge in registered voters, but how many will skip tomorrow because mom has a cold, they had to work a double, or they think Obama has it in the bag? How many registered voters will just skip because there's something good on TV or they're just too stoned to get out of the house? You can damn well expect the GOP machine to work overtime to make up for the shortfall.

Because if McCain can change PA's vote tomorrow, the whole landscape changes.

So get yer ass out there tomorrow and vote. If you are not eligible to vote, tell the people you know to vote. I don't give a shit if they vote for McCain...well, yeah I do...but the more people who get out there the fairer this fight is and I believe that when the pols close tomorrow, the people will send 21 electors with a mandate to select Barack Obama. But let's exercise this tired, clunky democratic system to see, huh?
