OB call -
Well, I witnessed my first vaginal delivery about 3 a.m this morning. There was only one delivery all night. I was hoping to get to catch a baby tonight, just to say I had, but it didn't happen. Spent most of the night triaging patients who were having various problems such as pre term contractions, vaginal bleeding, decreased fetal movement.. I think I may have to go to scrub a C-section if it goes on the next 2 hours, if not I'm going home to bed.
