Question for the BBQ chef

I was in the gym at lunchtime, as is my wont, and I happened to look up at one of the many, many screens dotted around (also my wont). It was a Kanye West track (a little less wonted) and I was actually rather stunned to see that they'd censored the n-word during the track - a word that happened to be a rather major part of said song. (The track was Gold Digger to give you an idea of how often this particular word comes up).
So, riddle me this internet: if Kanye West can't use the n-word, then who in the name of dear fuck actually can!?
