Back to the Grind..
Nothing like coming back from a week's vacation to be greeted by a lovely backlog of samples and paperwork. It will likely take at least 2 to 3 days to catch up, provided that I don't get swamped with new 'goodies' this week.
Bleah.
But that's the price I usually pay for an extended period of time off. As it is, I'm working today - while most of the rest of the State's employees have the day off. Today is Confederate Memorial Day, one of the most obscure holidays of the Georgian year (the other is Robert E. Lee Day). Nothing like commemorating the defeat of the South (The War of Northern Aggression) - even over 140 years after the fact.
