The last couple months at work have been a gargantuan ball o' stress, culminating in my new vacuum chamber at work imploding and showering the lab in glass, five minutes before I was supposed to leave for war. I guess my concern is travelling. It's a bit of a drive for me and I'm not sure what freeways are shut down anymore. And would I have a place to crash?

No problem on the crash space. Is Marcos coming too?

Not sure about the freeways. I know there's an LA freeway traffic map on the net somewhere, though it may not show the 126. If the 126 is open, 14-5N-126-101 is the best route, otherwise 14-5S-405-118-23-101 (or 14-5-405-101).

No Marcos will be visiting his family this weekend. His father is a firefighter and mother was evacuated because of the fire. Everyone's fine though so no worries.

Um, I left my fencing gear in the trunk of his car last weekend and I'm sure you see how that poses a problem with fencing this weekend. If there's any loaner garb that would be great. Assuming of course you do want to fence.

I've got eight or nine fencers worth of gear in my trunk. Shouldn't be a problem. A buncha other Isles people would probably join us if you get here mid-afternoon (not really enough lighting here for night fencing)
