The initial reports showed a new lab in this corridor. The set of rooms was open and lovely, well laid out with balconies and lots of windows. It almost reminded them of a doctor's office. Which was appropriate, as some of the equipment found had turned out to be medical in nature. Perhaps a consultation clinic of some kind? Dr. Wyndham-Pryce discovered an adjoining room with what looked like toys, prompting Rachel and Radek to mark every item in there. They certainly didn't need any other spouses changing gender. She and Radek were close to a solution on that, anyway. Just a few more day's work, and they'd hopefully have it figured out.
The group of scientists moved through the rooms, tagging the equipment as they went. A slight decoding on one device indicated it was for some kind of genetic therapy. Rachel made sure that one was tagged carefully and gave instructions for it to be delivered to Carson's research area when the next shift came on. Everyone broke for dinner, wandering back to the mess hall. Rae sighed, sitting down in one of the comfy chairs and beckoning Radek to sit beside her. When he did, she leaned against him, her head on his shoulder.
"Hmmmmm. I may have to come back in the morning, love. I think I've been on my feet long enough today. Sorry, I really wanted to get everything catalogued so we could start on moving it sooner..."
