Rachel smiled as Carson came in the kitchen and gave her a quick kiss. Rodney and Radek were finishing up a couple things in the home office while John napped in the bedroom as she made dinner. He leaned against the counter after getting a beer and opening it. She continued to chop vegetables as she spoke in a low voice, piquing his curiosity

John's so warm over her, a heated damp blanket on her back before pulling her upright to lean against him. Her eyes are closed as little shivers run over her skin, faint aftershocks in her flesh. "Oh, yes... Rodney can supposedly cook. He broke Radek a little, he can fix dinner. You and I can wipe up and get on the couch, hm?"

Rae moves away to get a clean rag and gets it warm and damp. She cleans up quickly before rinsing and re-warming it and handing it to John, then pulls up her panties and shorts. When he wavers a little, her eyes narrow in concern. "Carson! Help John to the couch, would you? I think he's done a little too much work..." Carson takes the rag when John's done, putting it in the dirty clothes while John pulls his pants up. He then lets John drape an arm over his shoulder before helping him into the other room and onto the couch. Rae follows, sitting down beside him. John grins and shifts on the couch to lay his head in her lap.

Rae smiles down at him and runs her fingers through his hair comfortingly. "Thank you, my love. You're right, I liked what you did. Just rest now until dinner's ready." She leans down to press a soft kiss to his lips.
