Normal at last?

Seems normal so far, but I'll not jinx it. I had to transfer Dr. Bridges out of my lab, she simply could not keep a homophobic/polyphobic attitude from interfering with her work, and she made a fourth miscalculation that was easily catchable in the transformer test. Now I remember what I didn't like about running a lab. Paperwork. Granted, 9/10 of what we do is paperless, but it's still a lot of forms and things.

We should hear from Carson today what he's come up with so far for Radek. I honestly know the poor man isn't a miracle worker, but there's gotta be some solution. It makes my heart ache whenever I see Radek hurting, and now that just feeds the cycle. Oh! I just had a lovely idea. hehehe Now, if I can enlist Miko's help with some programming on jumper 7... Perfect. Note to self: email Dr. Weir regarding current thought.

David was very forgiving and sweet and still wants to be friends. That was so nice! I'll have to work on the grow-light output problem this afternoon for him. I'm sure I can decrease the power usage on the naquadah generator by at least 14%...

Anyhow. I think I might take Sally out and practice tonight. Been a few weeks now, and my fingers need limbering. Maybe some Cotton Eye'd Joe, a little I'se the B'y, and... oh, I know. I'll practice the Praha Sunlight piece. Radek would like that one. Note to Self: Send john sound file of CEJ for guitar section. It's not a hard one to play. Hmm. That balcony where Radek kissed me would be far enough away for practice that I wouldn't have to use the string mute. OH! There's a thought... Hmm, how to do this...

Rachel leans over in her office and places a hand on the walls. She wishes she could hear the City the way some others do. It takes real effort to *think* this hard.

(envisioning a piano and how it's played) Lady Atlantis? Have you anything in the city similar to this that could still be used? (pictures Rodney at a piano) It would be a gift for your Noisy Child, a gift of beauty to heal his past, I think.

Rachel sits up. Great, I'm asking a wall if it has a piano. I really am nuts.
