I Won't Stop Cause I Believe (Maybe, Yeah Maybe) [RP Moment]
Having finished the autopsy, she leaves the rest of the bodies in the care of her assistants and leaves the morgue in her scrubs, walking to the nearest Catholic church in the area. Once inside, she makes her way to the platform of candles near the altar. Lighting a match, she takes a candle and lights it before heading to the pews and kneeling down.
"In the name of the father, and the son, and the holy spirit... Amen." She goes through the sign of the cross and closes her eyes, hands clasped together in prayer. "God, someone has taken a friend from us, and we're trying everything we can think of to find her. Please, we don't have much more time... keep her safe, Lord. Help us find her before it's too late."
She pauses to inhale deeply, choking back the oncoming emotional flood. "And please, Lord, give Detective Flack the strength to make it through this... and to survive if you've made Anna one of your children in Heaven. Amen."
She looks at the candle burning with her prayer and loses it. Bowing her head, she finally lets herself cry.
