25 days and I am 21. I just thought that I would throw that out there to kick this entry off.
I have been deliberating the past few days and I finally broke down and asked my mom if I could move back in once Kelly's boyfriend signs over on my lease. She actually said yeah, but wants me to talk to my dad about it first. I'm sure once I tell him that I will be able to save a lot more money and thus, won't be such a financial burden on him then he will probably give me the ok. I feel bad for Steve because I said I would get a place with him and now I am backing out. I'm sure he'll understand. It's tough, but this is the right decision for me to make. I want to be able to have money saved up for when I go to Lake State next year and that's just not going to happen with the money I am currently making.
I get to play drums with our church group this Sunday at Camp Copnacanick (sp?), which is crazy because I went there for 6th grade camp 10 years ago. It's some marriage retreat/seminar and I am kind of skepticle about the whole thing. Number one, I'm not sure if this is primarily for couples who are having marital problems, or if it's just something to do as a couple. It's like, what if we play bad and people get divorced?!? Eh, guess it's for the better. Plus, I am going to miss the Lions game!! <--- that sounded a little selfish now that I think about it.
Can you guys believe the Red Wings?!?! 12-1! I love hockey and am definetly glad that the NHL is back, but I wouldn't have believed the Wings would be out to such an awesome start if you had told me before the season started. Hopefully it'll be a Cup year.
Speaking of hockey, I hope Slobby's doing ok in Stratford. If you read this Slobby, than I hope all is going well and that you are playing your best game. I'm really looking forward to Christmas when the ole ROTC/4 brothers will be back together.....FATTIES!!!
So far, I think I've decided on spending my 21st birthday at Michigan State. I talked it over with Cassar and he seems down for it, too. Hopefully Kusk, Kukuk, and some others will be willing to make the trip out for the occasion.
I got a new cell phone. I still have the same number, just switched to Verizon so if I don't know who you are right away when you call it's because I don't have all of my old numbers stored in my new phone yet.
The Jeep's running pretty good. The front tires are worn, so I definetly need to replace those, but I should have the money with my b-day, x-mas, and a few paychecks minues rent coming up.
This Friday I have my buddy Tim's 21st birthday to celebrate, then LaNerrick's wedding on Saturday night. It's going to be a pretty hectic weekend, but it should be some good fun. Hopefully I'll make some good tip money so I'll be able to drink with them.
All in all, everything else is the norm.
Holla,
KCJ
