After swinging by the Lounge and signing up to help chaperone at the dance, Wilson headed on down to his office, doughnut caught firmly in between his teeth

After class (and conveniently at a time when the two troublemakers weren't meeting with Wilson), Aziraphale walked into the office and made himself at home on the couch.
"Do you know, I really think this might be my favorite time of year."

"Well I admit, they aren't as good as butterscotches," Aziraphale chuckled.
It put him in mind of seasonal food, though, and he sank a little further into the cushions with a contented expression. "I think I ought to make some spice cake sometime."

"Ooo that would be very nice," Wilson said, already making a mental note to visit the Atlas gym to work off the pounds he could just feel gathering at his waist with the thought of spice cake.
"I think I'll go to the gym tonight," he muttered, then winked at the angel.

"Oh, that's a good idea, love! Drop by on your way back from the gym if you like and I'll make you one special."
Aziraphale smiled warmly over his teacup, making a mental note to research some drink recipes when he got home. "Nice weather for grilling out, as well. Perhaps some evening we ought to fix ourselves some fish and vegetables out on the grill."

"Really, my dear, I like being domestic and not squabbling with demons," Aziraphale protested. "Although now you mention is...don't you think it's time we got new drapes and things for the bedroom?"
Yes, it was quite possible that the impending autumn season was bringing out a nesting instinct in the angel.

Dear HIM preserve him from nesting angels.
"Love, the drapes are fine but if you'd like we can get a new comforter for the winter?"
There was a part of Wilson that couldn't quite believe he was having this conversation with Aziraphale. Not that he didn't love and adore his mate but honestly sometimes the angel could be such a ... poof.

Yes. Yes he could. And yet still be utterly unaware of the fact.
"Oh, that sounds nice. A new quilt, and maybe a new rug to go in front of the fireplace..." Aziraphale mused. Surely Wilson wouldn't argue against a nice new heart rug?

"Oh dear." Aziraphale looked sympathetic. "Puts me in mind of when Belthazor was threatening to fireball people in my class. Joxer, I think it was, actually. I expect so long as there are Halliwells or their partners on this island, there'll be mischief."

"I wonder why that might be?" He said playfully.

"I think it's...candy corn. Yes, quite. That must be it."

"You and candy corn," he said in a tone that indicated this was a long running difference of culinary opinion between the pair.

"Spicey drinks should be your theme for tonight."

"I'm beginning to think we need to run off and find some demons to squabble with, Raphale. You're starting to sound positively domestic."
