[ooc: After the events over here. Open for all people who are meeting and chasing the Wee!]

The Icecreamery's claim to fame is that they make their icecream to individual specifications, right in front of you. Thirty base flavours fill the glass fronted freezer, huge metal buckets much like a traditional ice cream store. Everything from ( Read more... )

The wee!angel wasn't feeling quite the same level of hunger, since technically even cupids didn't require food. But ice cream! Who could resist that?

So he happily ran along with his little friend, ducking with him under the arm of the next person to exit the shop and following him up to the very tall counter.

Too tall to see the ice cream!

"Ohno," he mumurmed. How were they supposed to get the ice cream if the other boy couldn't even see it? Not a problem for Aziraphale, of course, he had wings. But Wilson didn't, and he was too heavy for the angel to carry into the air with him.

Well first off, Phale's wings were making a bit of a stir and some instinct in Wilson's wee!brain insisted that he keep his friend from flying up to look at the icecream. Holding on to Phale's hand tightly, Wilson scooted close to him and looked back at a couple of stares they got from some of the adults in the shop.

"Awww, what a sweet costume." One lady exclaimed.

Costume? Yeah, yeah that would work. Chattering at Phale, communicating in that unique toddler way that he needed to keep his feet on the floor, Wilson beamed sweetly at the lady and pointed towards the case ( ... )

Catching on to the whole no-flying thing, Aziraphale stood holding Wilson's hand and looked hopefully up at the target nice lady, blinking his wide blue eyes.

No one could possibly resist that kind of combined attack, and the woman patted them both on the head and waved for the young man behind the counter. "I don't see what it could hurt, to get you each a little cone. What flavor of ice cream do you want, sweetie? Chocolate?"

Because hey, she wasn't the one who had to clean them up, right?

Chocolate was a universal favorite and Wilson nodded eagerly and then after a split second, he moved to seal the deal with a sweet.

"Pwease?"

Bingo! The woman melted and turned to the counter to ask for the two small cones with double scoop of chocolate ice cream.

Lana came in slightly out of breath, with Rodney trailing behind her. "Here you are!" she said. "Sorry we lost you."

Still hanging by his ankles, and still flapping his wee wings and flailing, Aziraphale let out an unhappy howl. No fair, he couldn't fly upside down!

He hadn't exactly agreed to her conditions, but he'd certainly put up a fuss if he stayed like this much longer. Carefully, she gripped both ankles in one hand and ran her other hand up his back, righting him.

Finally, she let him loose with a final stern warning. "Behave."

Clinging to Dawn's shoulder, Wilson looked worriedly at Aziraphale and pointed towards him.

"Phawe, Phawe!!"

Then his little chin stuck out firmly. He was defending Phawe! At that moment, Phale howled and that set Wilson off immediately.

Crying in tandem, he threw himself forward in Dawn's arm, hands reaching out towards Phale.

"PHAWE, PHAWE!!!!"

There was only so long a tired wee!angel could be still and well behaved before grown-up discussions that he didn't really understand began to make him fret. When Wilson began loudly fussing, that put an end to the wee!angel's patience.

"Doddy!" he demanded, lightly bapping his palm on Rodney's chest. "Auntie Doddy! Home!"

He looked at the little...thing...in his arms with disbelief. "I am not an aunt," he said firmly but quietly. It wouldn't do to make the kid close to his head start crying or anything. "Uncle, if you must, but not aunt."

He looked at group, particularly staring at Lex. "Taking the midgets home sounds like a good idea. The sooner gone, the better. That is, if we're allowed to leave."
