Juliet enters the house in a cloud of anger, having just left the sedative for the Smoke Monster's mother at the security offices. She wanders into the kitchen, making herself a tea to attempt to distract her from her shaking hands and her furious thoughts. The teacup is left on the counter to grow cold, however, as Juliet begins to pace around the house, muttering to herself.
She can't even explain her anger. She doesn't know if she can articulate anything. Her anger surprises her sometimes, welling up inside her hot and fast. She can keep a cool and calm exterior, most days, and to most people. But not to James. He knows exactly how to crack her emotional dam.
It's for this reason that she prays he doesn't come home while she's angry. She's not sure what she'll say.
