So another show which I am a huge fan of is the West Wing. And re-watching some West Wing videos I remembered this speach that Leo says to Josh and thought it would fit Sherlock and John's friendship. Especially after what Steven Moffat said in the 'A Study in Pink audio commentary about Watson being a lost soul and you wanting Sherlock to come back for him, and to help him through his darkest moment.
