[Her door opens barely seconds later.] Simon --? [She looks at him almost like she had the first time she saw him in person on the barge, like now she just expects him to disappear and never come back. A smile appears there.] So I guess you just had your first flood.

Is-- that what that was? *rubs at the back of his head* I barely remember a thing. I seem to have .. slept quite a bit.

That happens sometimes. [She takes his hand and leads him in to have a sit.] So did anyone tell you about those?

*holds onto her hand and lets himself be led, sits beside her* Ah, no, actually. It was an.. interesting experience. Though from what I've heard in the halls I got off rather light. Are you alright?

Didn't affect me. My Inmate got a little wacky, though. That happens a lot during floods, actually. But yup -- floods are basically when the barge goes in too close to some world or another. Kinda brings aspects inside, changes people. [bounces in her seat] I was a teenager from Earth-That-Was once because of one!

Really? An Earth That Was teenager? What was that like?

It was nice. Everyone was really sweet to me. I got to play chess and eat cookies and fix cars. Oh -- cars are old earth-that-was transports. Really shiny.

*laughs* Sounds like you enjoyed it, at least. .. sorry to have been gone for so long again, especially if you worried. I know I would have worried, so-- ah. *rubs the back of his head, laughs a little* .. sorry.
