[Attached: lightpost data for southern outskirts of Meria's main city]
[Attached: chart of medieval Younger Futhark runes with corresponding Roman letters. Ogham is included for comparison to runes.]
About that house in Meria that the hospital administrator helped me buy from its previous owners...
Ken, it approached me that I never gave you the cipher for reading the trail markers. Ryo, in case you want to visit, I'm including instructions for you, too.
The trail markers are stones piled in the Scandinavian tradition, with a difference: each marker contains a Younger Futhark (Medieval variation) rune written under the extraneous stone at the base. In order, they spell out "athanatos," Attic Greek for "undying." Further, to throw people off, there are stones with the first and last letters of each line of the following poem, given in the Ogham writing system:
Troll kalla mik
tungl sjötrungnis,
auðsug jötuns,
élsólar böl,
vilsinn völu,
vörð náfjarðar,
hvélsvelg himins -
hvat's troll nema þat?
Additionally, in the event of my demise (or, hopefully, if I get sent back home): In my desk's topmost drawer there is a copy of my will. This shall serve to distribute whatever possessions I may have or gain in this world. I think I can trust you two to handle it.
Finally: Please do not give this information out. I am a solitary person and would rather the only visitors be the only people I trust.
philos,
ken
