Derick went to the hotsprings this weekend, and it pretty much rocked more than anything that be. yarr.
on the way there, we stopped by this one road and went up a mountian, and ran across this guy at a shooting range. i got some practice with a tactical handgun, an Israeli Galil, and a sniper rifle. i sucked a fat one at the former two, but the latter, OMG i rocked tits with it.
so, we took turns. first the guy we met went, then mike, then me.
neither of them hit a bulls eye, but i hit it TWICE, and then one on the ring just outside the bulls. in a line. it was more or less the definition of magnificence, especially considering the only thing i've shot with before, poorly, was a shotgun.
brag brag brag, i wants me a gun nao.
all i had to think was 'the target is in your mind, there is no spoon, etc, FIRE' and blamo, snipe'd.
ooh, there comes a severe weather alert... i wonder what's coming...
maybe it'll black out the city.
anyway. it was really beautiful out there, up in the mountains, with the throngs of trees all turning various shades and hues of yellow and red and orange and brown. it was actually one of the prettiest things i've ever seen. nature. *heart*
um... i guess that's all i has to share about that.
